Mike Levine is so doggone humble. I love listening to him speak. He is so grateful for his time in the spotlight, for the experiences he garnered, and so glad to have been a part of a positive message media for young, impressionable minds. That's rare, folks: RARE.

A band who never got the recognition they deserved. After watching, I see they were okay with that. I love Triumph. Their songs bring back so many memories. Love love love their music.

They did in San Antonio! Joe Anthony, a DJ (RIP) on 99.5 KISS FM, brought them down here when they were unknown outside of Canada. They sold out the municipal auditorium here and have been a town favorite ever since. Wish they would reunite and do a tour. Fight The Good Fight!!!!

"The respect that you should have, for the power ... Every musician, every entertainer should respect that and never abuse it" Wow, Mike Levine, has to be one of the wisest statements I've ever heard from a musician. Triumph has always been a favorite of mine. Always will be.

The bassist is so humble and has such a positive vibe. Actually all of them do. They make you want to be a better person, have a positive attitude, that life is not as bad as you portray it to be. Just a great bunch of guys.

Rik is a great guitar player and because he was(still) a super humble guy, sad but true, he doesn't get the recognition that he deserves. In my opinion, HE is the best guitar player alive today. Love them!!!

Triumph wrote meaningful songs and tried to give their fans their money's worth when they saw them. That's why I remember them as one reason of what made me love rock music.

I saw these guys on there first trip to texas, probably 1 of the best rock and roll bands to play in my day of late 70s to early 80s. It was in corpus christi tx.

TRIUMPH still gets me through rough times, especially in this day and age. Always "FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT AND NEVER SURRENDER" is a great motto for living life.

Their fame in Texas came from playing small concerts in small towns first, then large arenas came next. Plus, their music was perfect for the times.

I was a lighting director for several bands. I followed them for years and had a great show of my own. Colortrex Show Systems. In a smaller venue I set of concussion bombs but mixed it a little rich and blew the pictures off the owners office wall and dazed a few adoring fans. But stunned the guitar player to a staggering zombie. In those days you asked for forgiveness instead of permission. Sorry Marc. :)

RUSH clearly kicked the door open for them & other Canadian bands but They were more cerebral & dynamic & powerful in an amazing distinctive way! But Triumph was more of a "bombastic" party band and just wanted to have a good time & rock out! IF RUSH was like a Canadian Zep/Floyd type than Triumph were more..KISS!

@@billsmith9966 ha., Kiss werent into technical musical peices, they ROCKED. thats what was needed. Hits the soul way better, not to mention one of the most excitig live shows of the 70s,actually there for a while No band could hold up to a Live KISS show. Not the Stones, not Pink Floyd not Zeppelin. KISS ruled the live shows, ...on top of delivering kick ass rock n roll.
