I save this video for later whenever I need my fix. 5 years and still can’t get enough.

Hey man!! Just bought a Thruxton R with the cafe racer front in matte black.. Would love the radiator cowling! Any chance of sharing the design?!?!

Love your bike. The back snarl sounds ace. I really like the belly pan. This makes me want to buy a Thruxton R. I been looking for a bike that I can modify without diving really deep into it. I been also looking at the Yamaha XSR900. I want a cafe racer without the huge hassle of in depth modifications.

Sounds good. Nice bike. But try a zx14r r for turning trucks and cars into dots in the mirrors...or go pro lens. The bike needs weight reduction like the new Speedtwin. Lovely bike for a twisty road .

2 questions. Do you have a custom map made after removing the cat? and what can you tell me about that new Hedon Heroine Racer helmet? Is it comfortable? noisy? how does it compare to the Bell Bullit in terms of those things?

Andrew C - I do have a custom map built off a dyno run. I'm using the Power Commander 5. You don't "need" the PCV for the de-cat, it will run fine. If you change the air intake setup (like I did) you will need to adjust the a/f mix as it will run lean.

Andrew C - the Heroine helmet has been a joy to own. Top craftsmanship and very quiet at highway speeds. The Bullit has style for sure, but the write ups I read on it are that it's noisy.

Yes, I tried a Bell Bullitt but sent it back because of the noise. What other helmets have you owned, for reference?
@craigkolstad21767 жыл бұрын
Andrew C - I've had open face helmets for years, so my comparisons aren't good. It is comfortable and quiet though. The front screen can opened a hair or fully.

Also - the belly pan was designed to fit the radiator, which I lowered down on the bike to change the look.
