I have the Tiger 850 sport and I agree, the motor is smooth and has very nice low end torque. I had a Vstrom and the Tiger is smoother. I've also have a Harley and have had multiple other types of bikes and the Tigers ride is just as good as anything else I've had. Over 20 bikes including V twins, inline fours and triples. Of coarse when I'm above 85 it's a little buzzy but so is everything else I've ridden.

Thanks for the thoughtful video on the Scorpion exhaust. I too installed the same system some-time back and was VERY pleased with the results. To me, the stock system didn’t sound much better than an overtaxed decade old dishwasher…the Scorpion product gave the bike life!…aaaand OOOHHH HOWWW SSSWWWEEET IT IS🤩

Hi, can you advise if there was a graphite gasket fitted/needed between the new exhaust pipe & the catalytic converter where it slides on? The original had one fitted but not sure if the Scorpion is supposed too?

No gasket needed. I had the same question when looking at exhausts but the Scorpion does not require one. The original gasket comes off and stays with the original exhaust.

Hello brother. Did you change the airfilter as well while changing the exhaust or is it running in stock filter?

Running stock as is. Well, stock except for the exhaust. But no, there were no other modifications done and it runs (and sounds) great!

@@msm083 I'm wouldn't bother unless you're going to re-tune the bike with TuneECU for the new equipment. It probably won't take advantage of performance air filter unless the ECU is programmed correctly to take advantage of it. But I do know that just retuning the bike with another mapping WITHOUT installing any additional part, "wakes" the bike up. So you can get more performance with just a new ECU mapping

I never did the tune thing. And I’ve removed the dbkiller. Done a few long runs will that have given ecu time to learn.?

Honestly I don't think it's needed for a slip-on. Full exhaust yeah. I just figured I'd be thorough for the video, But yeah, it's probably not needed.
