Hey great vid! Nice work Can you tell me what torque specs used for the header nuts and o2 sensor nut?

We didn't use a torque wrench. We just turned it until we felt it was tight enough. Header nuts & the o2 sensor don't need a lot of torque to be tight.

Hi Michael. I got mine here in PH too because of this review :) The issue is I always get backfires on decels. Can remap can solve this? Im using the dB killer version btw.

Unforuntately we no longer have this bike. From what I remember you have to drill out a rivet and remove the baffle with some pliers.

Not at all! Of course any aftermarket exhaust in cold weather is going to sound louder than stock but it's nowhere near some other bikes. We use Alpine earplugs to ride, shameless plug you can find them on our website, no pun intended on the plugs!

This is the race version. It measures about 98dB at idle from 5 feet away.

I can't comment on whether or not the OEM belly pan will fit with any exhaust or this one specifically because we didn't opt for that option when purchasing the bike.

It does, although to be honest it doesn't do much.

No, replacement gaskets are not necessary. You have to reuse the OEM ones. It wasn't shown because the header gaskets didn't fall out when I installed the exhaust. If you're having trouble keeping the gaskets in place, put a very thin film of grease on them to help them stick to the engine case. This will NOT hurt anything, saves you a headache, and the grease will simply burn off when the engine gets hot. -Michael

Zard states that you do not, but as with all motorcycles I highly recommend a tune from a reputable tuner.

Do you think Trident is good for touring? Can a couple of thousand kilometers be covered comfortably?

It can absolutely be done, you can tour on any motorcycle if your determined! Be sure to check out the other videos in our build series. We do an overview on the Hepco & Becker C-Bow system(saddlebags) and a tank bag! We have a rear rack video scheduled as well to attach a tail bag, just waiting on the rack to arrive from Germany!

kinda cringed when you were taking the header bolts out and the radiator was moving around. Shallow well sockets would work better for keeping your wrench out of the radiator cooling fins.
