How was the fuelling , did it run lean at any point? Do you believe there is any benefit from a ECU upgrade / flash?

There is always a benefit to ECU flashing. The bike will run smoother, cooler, make more power, and have better throttle response along with a litany of other positives. One of the charts in the video show the AFR values.

What is a good company to send your ecu to, to tune it for this exhaust? I'm new to all of this which is why I ask.

The one we used is DNK tunes.

We took it out immediately and threw it away lol

Working on the tune! We won't be doing a high flow air filter though.

Never understood why they do multiple runs? Can anyone explain. You only get one curve from the system.

They do multiple runs to have more data as to what it looks like in each gear. More data from multiple runs= the more accurate you can make the tune. It also helps provide an average instead of just one set of figures.

Interesting! But a whole ZARD exhaust is quite expensive. There are cheaper (and not ugly) products available such as GPR.

The fit and finish on Zard cannot be beat though. They are on par with Akrapovic, Termignoni, SC Project.

​@@MotoMachines You could also add Yoshimura to the "elite" exhaust manufacturers and they produced a beautiful exhaust for Trident. By the way, other brands such as Arrow, Leovince, Ixil, Mivv, Giannelli and GPR may offer an interesting alternative to people with smaller budgets. In any case, changing the whole exhaust without adjusting the air-fuel mixture is almost useless, except making more noise and more CO2 emissions..

@@XYZ-ru9wh ?....The dyno showed a 7% gain in HP in the upper RPM's, from all the ride rviews I've seen this is where riders would like a little more power with this bike, the sound it makes is subjective, people have different ideas of what does and doesn't sound good.

@@EssPhour Thanks for your comment. I bought a 2nd-hand almost new IXIL X-RACE full exhaust, EU approved for 350 euros only! It gives already a good power boost and without making useless noise!
