I love looking for these comments. It's the "underrated" comment. Now here we have a band that's got a 1 million watt light show, an audience of upwards of 80,000 people, and regular radio air play, but they're UNDERFUCKING RATED!! How much more rating would make you happy? Maybe we can change the name of a state, no, the entire country to Triumph! Maybe we can have Triumph History month! Hey, let's paint Triumph in gigantic letters on the moon so everyone can see it from earth. Would that be enough "rating" for you? drrrrrr

@@mefornewtnow Two more members and worse singer/screamer who only sings/screams. Subjective opinion. Priest was great for sure. I bought the DVD I liked the show so much and saw them whenever they came to town.

Rick Emmett was a Christian but he was never throwing it in peoples faces but it crept into his music. Read the lyrics of this song if you don’t believe me. Spectacular band

I saw them in Atl. In the 80’s On my Birthday!! My all time favorite band on my Birthday... just awesome. First time I heard them my brother and I was in a bar and they were on MTV, Never Surrender video. I ask my brother “ who are these guys”? He said Triumph I believe. I was hooked. The power and strength in Ricks voice, the veins in his neck looked like they were going to burst. I was thinking Damn now that’s a voice. Then you add in his ability to play a guitar and Gil on drums and is a great singer himself, then Mike on bass. They complimented each other very well! They were/are perfection at the highest level.

I love the music and wish they would of had more songs out growing up. I was 19 going on 20. They were one of the most awesome Canadian bands... This group was amazing

Days grow shorter and the nights are getting long Feels like we're running out of time Every day it seems much harder tellin' right from wrong You got to read between the lines Don't get discouraged, don't be afraid We can make it through another day Make it worth the price we pay The Good Book says it's better to give than to receive I do my best to do my part Nothin' in my pockets, I got nothin' up my sleeve I keep my magic in my heart Keep up your spirit, keep up your faith, baby I am counting on you You know what you've got to do Fight the good fight every moment Every minute, every day Fight the good fight every moment It's your only way All your life you've been waiting for your chance Where you'll fit into the plan But you're the master of your own destiny So give and take the best that you can You think a little more money will buy your soul some rest You'd better think of something else instead You're so afraid of being honest with yourself You'd better take a look inside your head Nothing is easy, nothing good is free But I can tell you where to start Take a look inside your heart There's an answer in your heart Fight the good fight every moment Every minute every day Fight the good fight every moment Make it worth the price we pay Every moment of your lifetime Every minute every day Fight the good fight every moment Make it worth the price we pay

Damn... What a band... Rik belting out those lyrics, and absolutely killing it on guitar. Then MIkes Bass and Synth, and Gil's killer drums, makes this band the closest thing we'd ever witness for a 3 piece band to ever be anything like RUSH... Plus being from Canada too, makes it all understandable. Never seen them live, and I feel I missed out. My cousin was at this show and said no one knew who these guys were before the show but it was all anyone was talking about after it.

Someone invited me to a Triumph concert in Dallas, 1982. That performance at Reunion Arena turned me into a super fan, which goes to show that live music has a power that cannot be pumped into vinyl. I went on to see them 14 times, and each one was a performance of virtuosos, and the best light show in the business. I'm so glad I never took this amazing band for granted!
