Darach Meiklejohn There are bands that far exceed some talents of other bands. Though, that does not mean the band that can't compete with the other is terrible. There are different styles out there. Trivium has been a favorite of mine for a very long time, there is no denying that they are talented. You can obviously note that they're not sticking to one play-style. Their simply experimenting. I was 14 when i first heard it. My brother got me into them actually and it might be my nostalgia kicking in, but even after these years and hearing their other albums-ascendancy is my favorite album. I guess i really like the fast picking tracks done in several songs and the growls by Matt with them harmonic solos XD But yeee. TRIVIUM FTW

Yes!! My fav album btw. The album just had come out. They were selling copies (cd's). It was my first time hearing them, and I instantly fell in love. Crazy that my first time being introduced to Trivium, I saw them live. The bar (The Back Room) is small, so it was a very intimate experience. I will never forget it. Trivium, you rock!!
