Is anyone else as salty as I am about the updated charge moves for Gen 1 final evolutions? All that time we spent trying to get the "perfect move sets" just to have the game update and all of a sudden everything Ive spent stardust powering up is sub-par compared to a new evolution with better moves. Idk, maybe there is a benefit to having the "legacy" moves but for now I'm just going to stay mad for a little while.

Im pretty sure its impossible. Ive used Alakazam, Machamp, Gengar... you just need to deal more damage faster. Maybe not dodging unless its the charge move... Let me see if theres a new best attacker, some mons got crazy dps increases, the new fighting charge moves might be the key to tearing down Blissy.

I used my espeon 2700 cp and my gyarados 2900 cp to fight, blissy is too tanky. I cant image any pokemon with half cp can kill blissy if you need to train up gym.

I have 2 blissey over 2400cp, had one chansey over 1100 before valentines that I was walking since December. Then caught 6 chansey a day figuring Niantic would do a gyarados and make chansey 100 candy to evolve because blissey would be op like when snorlax came out before it was nerfed. A critical catch is where the ball will only shake once instead of 3x, making your capture of that Pokémon guaranteed. It happens if you're successfully catching Pokémon prior, but it's chances are random. I hope this helps.

Tyranitar is a really nice buff for people living in rock biomes. I haven't seen/hatched any members of the Dragonite line, but there's a Pokestop I attend regularly that frequently spawns Geodude, which I'm hoping will let me compete with Dragonite defending gyms.

I honestly think if they made it harder to find rare pokemon the game would be better. It to easy to find rare pokemon. Games now and days aren't challenging anymore. Developers seem to only care about the hype and sales more than longevity and quality.

Yea it took me 6 months to find my first grimer. It also took me walking nearly 400km with my dratini to get dragonite. I think they made it plenty hard.

It's easy for you because you're lucky. The VAST majority of regular players can not easily find rare pokemon (some of us have a hard time finding pokemon at all due to where we live).

But I've still had to walk all the candies for at least 3 evolution so far. You could buddy to a blissy in less than half the time I walked to a dragonite.

It seems like the pokemon go region exclusive border is a straight line that cross between the U.S. and Mexico so tauros can be caught on the northern states of Mexico: Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua and Coahuila, And Heracross can be caught on the southern U.S. states: Texas and Florida. Thats why there are so much people claiming they caught it on the U.S. they're all from Florida. The silph road have an image of the border on reddit, just in case you want to google it.

How anyone else battled in a gym yet, it feels so different. It feels a lot slower because of the cast time of the quick move, but the charge move actually does a lot of damage now. My guess for this is to make charges move have a easier time to beat blissey, but to not make it overpowered, they made the quick moves slower. Also it feels like training a gym is a little harder and the gym defender has a chance to defend.
