I had a 21 plate Matt Green one and loved it! A absolute hot at legal ish speeds. Only missed a bit of theatre from the exhaust!

I got same bike but I paid 16k swiss Francs (ca. 13k pounds) naked! I invested another 12k Swiss Francs to upgrade my bike (alot of small details upgrade). Today just finished installed fly screen and cooler cover. I love this bike and the sound of it. Everything you mentioned on your video I did as well, but instead of a arrows, I installed Zard exaust (Brrrrraaaaammmm!!!) Anyway I ride alot of mountain road, that is why I changed those Metzler tires to Bridgestone road tires. This bike is just awsome to lean in curves! I recommand people to test drive this bike. I am only 1m73 cm small and I am riding the Scrambler XE version without lowering it. I first thought is not POSSIBLE! I went out test drive and came back with a HUGE SMILE on my face and bought it! ; )

Well done Gustavo. I test-rode the XE 2019 in 2022, and although I am 6', I still got to stall it on a downhill section to a junction and !! Thankfully the garage dropped it by 10mm, and I can now flat-foot the bike at the lights, a lovely (and definitely beneficial mod). (for those who want to know, drop the front forks by 10mm, drop the rear shocks by 5mm (the ergonomics of the suspension travel will make this 10mm too)). Hope This Helps (hth) (I have the 2019 version, but should be applicable to later versions.)

I have a ‘22 Scrambler XE, it’s the mat green option. I think it’s a great bike for the road and the dirt roads in Pennsylvania.

im buying the exact same model :) Im a tall dude at 6'4 and out of all the bikes I tried this one fit the best How do you like it? Did you get any accessories with it?
@mijoizagas37472 жыл бұрын
@@HolysMoly I didn’t yet get any accessories but I plan to switch out the factory mirrors to more of a bar style. Also I probably will get a headlight protector. I’m 5’11” and it fits quite well for me.

For the next true update, I wish they would have black front forks and clocks like the T120, a bit more pep at higher rpm would be nice, come on Triumph!

Any news possibly on EU5 models coming ? Maybe with new colours and ... pretty please ... black anodised forks?! 😁

You can get an accessory fly screen to hide the back of the instrument cluster/TFT screen - negative problem solved.

Correct, I have one (that I have yet to install), but definitely on the list of mods to install.

Hi, how does this bike handle with a passenger? Is there enough room for the passenger to have a comfortable ride, also for longer trips? I’m lacking the attention for the passenger in many reviews. Maybe something to consider in the future. Just a side view of the bike with passenger would-be already be nice. Thx, Wim

A now ex, complimented the bike for it's pillion aplomb. However, these trips were reasonably local, i.e. 30 km round trip. The standard trim means no heated leg, although do bear in mind the passenger should wear ankle boots or higher, as there is a considerable spray from the left-hand-side if the road is wet. Recommend you plan your route to accomodate for pub visits, as my passenger was quite agreeable to said venue's toilet facilities. :) :D

You mentioned Steve McQueen at 0:37...As far as my knowledge goes...Steve McQueen didn’t do the famous jump in ”The Great Escape” it was a fella named Bud Ekins(a Hollywood stuntman and motorcycle dealer)The two later became good friends. Probably explains McQueens love of off-road scrambling..rumors say McQueen used to hang out at Ekins shop and change (customers) tires just to get to the know-how to do a tire change “on the fly” They did a racing competition together at some point.. McQueen rode under a fake name, because of the studios.... more to the story... in a book called “Forty Summers Ago” Good read if you’re interested in the rich history of motorcycling and Hollywood.. sort of a behind the scenes look.

Yeah, the 1200cc parallel twin Triumphs could do with a quick shifter !
@timrodierides3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I wish they'd do one as an option...
@hensola2 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I have a 1200 XE, and you will get used to the manual version. I do hear you, but personally I love their positive gearbox. Compared with the Moto Guzzi V85 this is literally night and day for me, and definitely a MAJOR plus point. TBH, if quick shifters existed in this world, this bike would still top my list of bikes to own. Compared with the Triumph 900 Rally, the torque wins at lower revs. At the end of the day, it is all down to what you want, and I think (yes, it is my opinion), this is the best do-all motorbike... I just wish it was a shaft drive(!) ;o) Have fun, and good luck in whatever you choose

That side slung exhaust is a problem. Looks cool but I test rode it for 15 min and felt it warming up under my jeans. Can't imagine how it would feel after a few hours on the road.

It is noticeable, especially in the summer months, but there are options your can take when buying 2nd hand.. Even if new, keep an open mind, and goggel.

Here's some food for thought, if they have Engineers building these bikes then why is there always little annoying issues? For these prices we shouldn't have to deal with those.
@blacktiger955i2 жыл бұрын
Gives them something to improve on updated models. And, of course, one person's problem doesn't annoy another person.

The bike will most definitely power wheelie in first HARD and second if you know how to work it. Traction control has to be OFF..
