Thank you for the tour. It makes me believe that KTMs, in the rain, might be reliable. McDonalds as a lunch choice, despite the time pressure, is unforgiveable, however. Belgium is a land of fantasy and unicorns and.......that beer you were talking about.

@@timrodierides Every time got off the main roads ended up on Roman straight for miles county roads . Once got into mid France different story . How did your mate get on the Daytona , I just bought a 2015 Daytona for do it all inc a bit more track thinking I sell the street triple I’ve had from new but bring myself to sell it .

Looked great. Quick question, I’ve not been to France/Belgium for a few years, but want to do Wallonia this year (including Chimay), but what I want to know is, speed traps/cameras? I notice you were, eh hum, enjoying yourself, so did you encounter any Gendarmerie hiding in bushes? Are static cameras easy to spot? Any advise would be gratefully received😁

From memory I didn't spot any Belgian police when I was off the motorways. But it was 2 years ago now and someone else may be best placed to advice!

Yeah, they're on my list for next time. We were a bit time limited (leaving my other half at home with a baby and a toddler for more than 4 days is apparently frowned upon?! I know…)

Wish were allowed to legally cruise at these speeds in AUS, out here 140km/h on a 4 lane motorway would be a loss of incense and written up on the police pages in social media Looks like was a fun trip, definiently got to explore Europe one day

How did the new Richa Jacket hold up?

It was absolutely waterproof. I love the way laminated gore-tex doesn't get soggy and heavy - you just shake it off at the end of the day. Even after our first day which was basically 7+ hours of rainy riding... really impressed. I want to get the matching trousers this winter.

@@timrodierides excellent I havent had a chance to get out on the bike with mine yet but its a long winter. I have the trousers from the Richa Atlantic jacket and they are excellent.
