I met Korey in person when he and the DT Crew came to L.A. a bunch of years ago at this point. Super nice and welcoming. That being said, I do think that the caller did have a point. Yes, I completely disagree with his demeanor and attitude and find it frustrating. However, as a professional host and head of a business, you set the tone for how business is conducted under you. It is completely inappropriate for Korey to talk to his employees this way. It has nothing to do with having experience hosting a show or not. As a manager (in any and every field), stress and frustration come with the job. I hope Korey finds a better way to express himself than he did in the clips provided. Nah, man. The way Korey reacted in the flashback was extremely uncomfortable and cringey. He's done that a lot before, and I had to stop ease off the live streams because of it. His anger is fair and understandable, but there's no reason to embarrass someone like that unless they're going out their way to distrust the show (which has happened before with people like Felix who deserved everything he got). I've made wedding guests feel less awkward after telling them to get out my shot. As Korey said, most of us don't know the pressures he's under to judge him, but that's still no excuse to act that way on the live to guests and cohosts. Either way, the phone dude's definitely a troll and I'm glad he got embarrassed. No hate towards Korey for me, he's been my daddy for 14 years and counting, I just don't like how he acted there.

I don’t like to see Korey lash out at someone for swerving the conversation in a direction that he didn’t want to go to yet, so maybe it’s best to not have guests anymore. If a guest realises they can’t speak until they are spoken to then they will leave, which is what has happened I’m sure with almost all guests in the past who aren’t with the show anymore. I appreciate all that Korey and Martin do and can’t imagine the stress of putting a show together like this, but there was no need for Korey to act like that towards a cohost who had the audacity to speak. Also, out of all the comments why pick out the one that is the most trollish? There had to be a more reasonable person who had valid critiques with how he behaved.

This is my theory, but I think Korey picked the most low hanging fruit possible so he could have a "win" to get back into the audience's good grace since it left him in a pretty bad light. This in turn should make the audience forget and lose focus on his rude, disrespectful, belitting, abusive, and toxic treatment of Julien & Kendra from earlier.
