TROLL GETS ROASTED AFTER TRYING TO CALL OUT KOREY | Double Toasted Bites - If anyone of you remember the infamy of the Spill.com meltdown that Korey Coleman had during the Spill days, you might be highly entertained by the amount of chaos that is delivered on this one! Internet trolls have always gotten confronted on Double Toasted but this gets ridiculous as a troll asks to be called and didn't know at all what he got himself into as he goes on a rant about our behavior earlier on in the episode and gets roasted about it as he slowly begins to show that this was all a big attempt at trolling.

I met Korey in person when he and the DT Crew came to L.A. a bunch of years ago at this point. Super nice and welcoming. That being said, I do think that the caller did have a point. Yes, I completely disagree with his demeanor and attitude and find it frustrating. However, as a professional host and head of a business, you set the tone for how business is conducted under you. It is completely inappropriate for Korey to talk to his employees this way. It has nothing to do with having experience hosting a show or not. As a manager (in any and every field), stress and frustration come with the job. I hope Korey finds a better way to express himself than he did in the clips provided. Love DT and hope to see better from here on.

That troll was completely out of line. However, I have been watching for 10 years now and so many guest have come and gone. When I originally watched it was mostly Korey and Martin and I think this is how the show should remain because they bounce off each other well. I don’t like to see Korey lash out at someone for swerving the conversation in a direction that he didn’t want to go to yet, so maybe it’s best to not have guests anymore. If a guest realises they can’t speak until they are spoken to then they will leave, which is what has happened I’m sure with almost all guests in the past who aren’t with the show anymore. I appreciate all that Korey and Martin do and can’t imagine the stress of putting a show together like this, but there was no need for Korey to act like that towards a cohost who had the audacity to speak. The person walking in front of the camera I completely understand, things like that have happened in the past and should never happen. I hope Korey takes the opportunity over the next 10 years to bring the show back to basics and doesn’t burn out because I don’t want the stress of producing this show to make him want to stop doing this.

Nah, man. The way Korey reacted in the flashback was extremely uncomfortable and cringey. He's done that a lot before, and I had to stop ease off the live streams because of it. His anger is fair and understandable, but there's no reason to embarrass someone like that unless they're going out their way to distrust the show (which has happened before with people like Felix who deserved everything he got). I've made wedding guests feel less awkward after telling them to get out my shot. As Korey said, most of us don't know the pressures he's under to judge him, but that's still no excuse to act that way on the live to guests and cohosts. Either way, the phone dude's definitely a troll and I'm glad he got embarrassed. No hate towards Korey for me, he's been my daddy for 14 years and counting, I just don't like how he acted there.

I would have appreciated his honesty more if his rage was part of the first review. Korey needs to understand that since he runs a business, it's important not to disagree with a customer or make them unhappy because a great business owner should make sure all customers are satisfied with the quality of service. I'm a 29 year-old undergraduate Senior student from Bridgewater State University. I'm majoring for a Bachelor's Degree in Film. I was born with Cerebral Palsy. there's a way to say everything if he was like "Hey Korey, a fan of the show. writing to say I didn't like how you were treating your staff in a live stream, raging out. I feel that it was unprofessional. and believe you can do better". this video wouldn't have happened, but no this guy wanted to say racist stuff just so he can be on the show.

Thought abou this all day. I work in kitchens and if the manager went in on everyone as hard as Korey did, people would walk out. Was my favorite channel, but cant support that behaivor.

Multiple things to talk about here. First, this guy (while he has a point) went about it all wrong. Calling Korey names and insulting him is not a good look when you’re trying to correct someone’s behavior. It’s never gonna work. Secondly, Martin using the whole “50 years old has nothing to do with that” is obviously not sound because Martin used the same argument against the caller. Both Korey and the caller need to learn to be more respectful of others. I felt kinda uncomfortable the way Korey was getting peeved at everyone in those videos. Not to mention Korey himself has admitted to being a bit of an a-hole so I think he knows he has work to do as a person. Thirdly, Korey's statement about the caller in a hypothetical scenario where Korey said the caller would do the same thing is not universal. Not for me at least. It doesn't matter about how much pressure you are under running a show. That's no excuse for Korey speak to people like that. There have been plenty of moments in my life where me reacting the way Korey has at points would've been warranted but I still didn't react that way. I've had horrible/despicable bosses and have never let myself loose the way Korey or the caller have. The worst thing my father ever told me was to "shut up." I was five at the time and the same age as the caller so I got it pretty good in the fatherhood department. Everyone clearly has different thresholds but I think we also need to be transparent here. This convo was far from black and white and I think there are issues on both sides. Lastly, the part where Korey was reading the letter was fucking hilarious.

I agree. Martin used a "straw man" against the caller to back Korey. Korey has enough experience to handle things like this. Granted, he's only human, but he could have handled this better. Posting this on KZbin is not a good look either.

Korey losing his temper can absolutely be criticized if it rubs people wrong BUT that email and the guy behind it acted 100x more brash and rude than Korey’s momentary slip. At least Korey didn’t use personal attacks and tried to ease back into everyone being comfortable with jokes and stuff This other guy was just looking for an excuse to be rude

Keep in mind that when Korey goes off on the air he may be partially playing it up for comedy. He has mentioned before how there was a time when he would go off much harder but has since grown past that 🤔. Nevertheless, regardless of Korey's action nothing justifies this troll saying what he said in that nonsensical email 🤔.

@@CLDJ227 Very true. You are right. And yes, that troll was out of line. I have been watching Double Toasted for years now way back when Korey was on The Spill. I have seen Korey go OFF before. Sometimes it's put on for comedic purposes but...even Martin has called him out for it as well when Korey went off on him too. Korey just didn't do it on camera that time.

Man, I love you Korey and don't disagree with you calling someone out on interrupting you, but don't bring that up during the show. It was a really messed up thing for a boss to do to an employee during a stream or wait for a break. I obviously don't think Julien meant anything malicious or was trying to do that, but it's the 3rd time I've seen you scold him in a video. At least edit that out. Anyway, love the show, and understand the pressure of a-holes that make you want to pull your hair out. No hate here, just trying to be constructive.

the fact it happens more than once is enough to establish that doing it there and then while live will help improve things in the future. we know the crew holds weekly meetings to address issues like this but maybe the message had to get through another way.
