Hi Cal, I was trolling threaded worms with blades and without and with death roll hooks and running low on worms. After many strikes and only a partial worms remaining I started tipping the hook with the gulp worms in the small bottle. This is the small spaghetti like gulp worms in a salmon egg type bottle. The combination of the real worm and the gulp tip seemed to improve the bite. The thin profile of the worm on the end seems to add additional action and holds tighter to the hook allowing for more strikes without reloading. I'll never be without the gulp bottle again. Cheers,

Yep, me too. I'll try some things next time out, like miracle thread the top of the worm onto the line above the hook, or tie on a small swivel half way down the leader. Who knows

I am using a larger barrel swivel and it seems to be working better than the smaller one.

Cal, the walleye fishermen that developed the slow death hook only use 3 inches of worm. If you thread on a whole worm you may not get the correct role.
