I transitioned from no computers in production to now spending all day on one. I hated them, mysteries, assigning you errors and then not cooperating. Tron was the world I imagined taking place inside the hideous boxes, it was also a movie that helped spark my interest to learn about them. Tron (both) has remained as favorites that I can watch over and over.

Most systems have routine backups. Sam could find his dad's data before integrating with Clu, and after and delta out Clu to restore his dad depending on how complex the data is. If the system has quantum mechanics involved, it may be impossible to sort out the data. But no Clu's plan to invade was never going to work. If Sam and Kevin for the sake of simple math weighed 100lbs each, there was only 200lbs of matter in the system. Fun fact: Quora is made out of Kevin's atomic material so Sam is dating his Dad's matter.

I don't know about that. Flynn is a user, an actual human being, not a program. At most, I feel that if they used his disk to "revive" him it would likely just be a duplicate program with his personalities and memories (not too dissimilar to Clu). So while yes, it would be possible to bring him back and get him into the real world, the Flynn in the real world would not be the "real" Flynn.
