Trooping The Colour 13 June 2015. The seven regiments of the Household Division comprising The Life Guards, The Blues and Royals, Grenadier Guards, Coldstream Guards, Scots Guards, Irish Guards, Welsh Guards, plus the Band of the Household Cavalry, the five Foot Guards Regimental Bands, the Corps of Drums of the Grenadier Guards and Welsh Guards, the Royal Colonels and Non-Royal Colonels accompany HM Queen Elizabeth II from Trooping The Colour (The Queen's Birthday Parade) on Horseguards Parade, back to Buckingham Palace on 13 June 2015.

+Christopher Kehoe .....KZbinr lirbugler informed me that the music was "H.M.S. Ocean" and I thanked him for that information. I then recalled that when I asked the Drum Major which music would be played at the step off, he also said "H.M.S. Ocean". It is a brilliant piece of music and was composed by Richard Waterer (1949-2006), Lieutenant Colonel, H.M. Royal Marines. At 0:13 I incorrectly labelled the footage as "The Colour Trooped, 1st Battalion Welsh Guards". Of course it is not. It is The Colour of 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, as the Old Guard, St James's Palace Detachment, returning to Buckingham Palace as part of the daily Changing The Queen's Guard, which occurs (almost) as usual even on the day of The Queen's Birthday Parade. The Colour Trooped, that of 1st Battalion Welsh Guards, appears at 5:29. Apologies.

OK, everything was fantastic but the highest point was reached at 7:26 with a rapid appearance of a beautiful, elegante and charming policewoman mounted on an also fantastic horse right in front of the Grenadiers' Corps of Drums. Beauty and protection!
