Hey it's Richard here with Platinum Ponds & Lake Management. We are at one of our member's properties here. And we are looking at a brand new fishpond, which was just installed and built. We just installed some aeration to the pond. The dock has just been completed. And we have added our Texas Hunter Pro Series Fish feeder for what we are calling the Catfish Pond. A catfish pond specifically for catfish cannot be mixed with largemouth bass is you intend to have a trophy bass pond. Certainly they will co-habitat together. This property owner wanted the best of both. So we designed this two acre pond here specifically for catfish. So we stocked it with catfish a few weeks ago, which in the late fall. We are now getting ready for spring. We stocked some fingerling catfish for this pond. We put about 1400 of them in. So we are looking at one-pound catfish in less than a year. Really, really looking forward to it.

First you stock mouse and rat fish so they have plenty to hunt and eat
