I like the realistic delivery not trying to sensationalize the news but I was surprised to see that when he described the center of circulation but he showed the circulation going clockwise instead of counterclockwise. I might expect a counterclockwise rotation to be muscle memory from a meteorologist from the northern hemisphere.

To my fellow Floridians, just prepare. This isn't going to be Irma or Idalia or Ian. Just get ready for Power Outages, and be prepped to do some cleanup and maybe some basic Home Repairs. This is nothing to be freaking the hell out about. Our Natural Ecosystems and Waterways will take a harsher beating than we will, praying that we do not get hit with a severe bacterial bloom in our Ocean and Rivers due to the Runoff this Storm may produce.

Central Fl should be ok but for the panhandle this storm will be way worse as a tropical storm then a cat 3. Gfs shows it wobbling around the panhandle for 72 to 84 hrs between 980 mbs and down to 950 mbs as it moves away from land the last time and veers towards the fl/al boarder. This is only a gfs model that i ran through, not a professional opinion from a meteorologist.
@jaxsenthomas8593 ай бұрын
The reason this would be worse as a tropical storm then a cat 3 hurricane is the tremendous amount of rain this storm could drop. One spot shows up to 30 inches of rain over the life of the storm in Tallahassee

Those small KZbin weather enthusiasts called this last week and are always ahead of the game. You sound a little hostile because I know you are watching them getting views vs people relying on mainstream media. Due to the small KZbinrs giving such great explanations now I see MSM weather channels giving deeper explanations in their forecasts.

Well, no one knows mother nature like mother nature. In 1992, a wave passed Florida and was off the Carolinas as just a depression; big deal as many said. High pressure blocked it, slammed into South Florida as a cat 5. Far too many doubters, meteorologist information is to keep the public aware and prepare IF necessary.
