We have life vests for people on boats and tough clothing and helmets for motorbike riders, why don't we have helmets and body armor people can put on for tornadoes and hurricanes etc? That would save lives. At least like have a helmet with a protective neck brace.

@@X-Gen-001 this things must be affordable by the people. Furthermore you can't compare tornadoes and hurricanes. Tornado: go down into your shelter or basement if you can. Reason: you can be hit by flying debris. Hurricane: go upwards and if you can, take tools with you to break through the roof. Reason: people drown in Hurricanes.

@@JoLo6696 If I lived in an area where tornadoes can occur, I'd get helmets for my wife and kids. That would at least greatly reduce the chance of them dying from a head injury.

No, heat domes and this massive heat waves are not normal. Earth experienced hottest on record on July 22th. The three hottest days were in that week.
