Aiming too high, trying to take on the whole world is how every one of my islands failed. Finally getting in a good spot after watching some of your tutorials. I'm kinda new to Tropico but really have loved it.

You should’ve made spots for each industry. (I.E putting Cotton Plantation next to a Llama Farm next to the Textile Factory) or (Two Sugar Plantation next to 1 Rum Distillery) Doing it that way always allows optimal movement for your goods to your factories. You would’ve made 3x as much money if you did the layout this way.

Wish I had known the Toy Factory was from a DLC, I was looking for ages how to "find" or unlock it. Otherwise your first few videos this season got me through the Colonial era, no one has ever managed to show me how. (Always ended up in spiral of debt despite selling rum like mad) Thanks for this very helpful video!

that's why I delay movign out of colonial and have all three major industry so in World wars I focus on shipyard, cannary, and creamery with coal for power
