Something has not been quite right at Whiff's Waste Dump lately, Scruff has had been having problems with his boiler. Being sent to the works leaves only Whiff and Spamcan, so the manager has to hire another engine, as Spamcan can not do the shunting as he is the one to transport the waste to the Barrow incinerator. The result is an engine called Withfield, an engine with an unhealthy and annoying obession with anything telephone related, even to the point of blabbering nonsense about any phone related. Much to Whiff and Spamcan's annoyance, Withfield is the one to replace Scruff while he is being mended. But his telephone obsession leads him to trouble on a day when Spamcan has engine trouble.
(Withfield was a silly OC idea I had when I was like 10-11, as a result of seeing the caller's name Withheld on our landline telephone, which was much to my Mum and Dad's annoyance. Withfield is a corruption of Withheld)
