Thanks for taking us all with you to the beach, fantastic pictures 🙂 My telephoto lens is the Lumix 35-100mm f4-5.6. I recommend it, so tiny, inexpensive and amazing image quality. Many of us get hung up over fast apertures and the promise of perfect IQ but these days, especially with m43, we already have amazing kit as our disposal.

Hey Michael, thanks for watching! I agree, there are some great inexpensive kit lenses out there, especially for M4/3. I do appreciate the higher quality glass and I love shooting in low light, so a bright aperture is always high on my list. I’m definitely gonna hang on to this tiny little thing for now. I might eventually replace it but until then, I won’t ever be in a pinch with nothing long range. I’m sure the lumix 35-100 is a great option, I am a big fan of Panasonic lenses. Thanks again fir watching, happy shooting ☺️

Great video! That 50-200 Leica is expensive, but so very impressive. You would love it. I also grabbed the 1.4 teleconverter - both used for a considerable discount. I was on a rock face videoing a tiny treefrog ambling on the rockface. The stabilization on the G9 plus the lens stab was so very epic. The 50-200 has incredible near-macro capabilities as well. Wasn't expecting that. Caught him eating a tiny fly and catching himself falling. Later I was able to zoom on a bear from a safe distance eating fruit on a tree. I can't decide if it is better for video or stills. Used it for catching surfers. Again, the stabilization while zoom. No gimbal required. Ridiculous Maybe rent it? I would love to see your work on it.

Hey, thanks so much for watching and for sharing your experiences with the Leica 50-200! I do love this lens too, and it is high on my list! I am planning to grab it soon, hopefully in the next month or so? That is unless I find a good deal on something else that is also high on my list. LOL I am constantly keeping my eye on what's available at KEH, what's on sale, what's on local buy/sell/trade groups, so I sometimes grab the better deal and put my favorites on the back burner. One of these, the Leica will be mine! :)

@@graphiknation I was also very, very surprised by the tiny and light Lumix G X Vario 45-175 f/4-5.6. Has Lens stab! Quality punches well above what you would think. You wouldn't know it was in your bag.

Hi.., struggling with weight and focal range.., for vacation the Oly 12-200 isn’t bad, weather sealed and as a used object a bargain

Nice! thank you. Wish you fun with those lenses. Interestingly I got this "issue" at the wide end. For "serious" gigs i have the 50-200 on the G9 and the S5 with its kit lens and the sigma 45. On vacation or any short walk through the woods I prefer the g100 with 14-140 (love that lens), the 14mm, the 20mm and the 42.5 primes.. I would love to have something about 9mm ... are you set on the wide end? Thanks again.

That sounds like you have great combination across both systems. I have the Lumix 7-14mm f/4 on m4/3, but I really want to replace that with the Laowa 7.5 f/2. The only thing that keeps from doing that is that I have a super tiny vintage voigtlander 15mm f/4 m-mount lens that I use on the S5, which is basically the Laowa on FF. Lol
