Yup the ninja coffee bar sucks !! it doesn't even brew a half cup of coffee it's been cleaned, the thing is just a piece of crap!

I owned a Ninja Coffee Bar for 1.5 years ...the first 7 month's were like a honeymoon every pot was like the first time, then the honeymoon ended and as it happens so often the Ninja Coffee Bar begin to stop taking care of the family and even with regular coddling (cleaning) and constant encouragement ("Your a worthless little pot") and even after an intervention (chat with the Mother-in-Law, Ninja Customer Service). I regretfully announce that due to irreconcilable differences this 1.5 year marriage to my once adorable little Ninja Coffee Bar has ended. On a brighter note my former coffee companion #LoveMyBunn has forgiven my affair with Ninja Coffee Bar and is once again delivering the reliable cup of coffee that made me happy for the previous 23 years. I have learned my lession and will try not to be attracted to the younger sleeker "perkier" coffee pots in the future.

The key to getting the light to go off is when the initial clean is completed and it has counted down from the 30 minutes and the coffee pot says to flush DO NOT push the BREW BUTTON if you do you will have to start the whole process over again. Instead push the clean button and make sure that you have water in the reservoir to flush out the machine. My light went right off after I pushed the clean button and the flushing was complete. I think people are pushing the brew button because it is pulsing and lighting up they think that is how they will flush the machine but it is not how to do it. I was just about to get rid of my fairly new machine but try what I said, before you give up.

I tried this tip found here www.ifixit.com/Wiki/Ninja_Coffee_Bar_CF086_Troubleshooting by user Kelly who got the tip from apparently the one Ninja technician who knows what they're doing.... "tech said to remove the reservoir and depress both the spring on the water container, and depress the area in which the water drains (on the coffee unit itself), holding each a few seconds. This removes any trapped air in the internal line." My Ninja started working normally again. This seemed to happen when I took the reservoir out to clean it and placed it back in the slot empty… so it makes sense that this whole problem has to do with the design flaw that can trap air in the water line and make the Ninja quit. I think it brews the water already in the pre-heat section, but then when it goes to pull in more water it detects air and quits- which is what everyone has been experiencing. Hopefully this is just a simple trick to keep me from going crazy.

Just bought a Ninja model CE 250 69. I've followed the directions twice. Unpluged it and started over. No beeps. no nothing. The clock was easy to set, but thats it. It's going back. I'm going to buy one of those $20 models with only an off and on switch. I can load it before bed and turn it on when I get up. Simple but effective.

Biggest piece of junk ever! After a couple of months we started getting the 5 beeps of death. Brews for a few seconds and shuts off. No amount of cleaning fixes the issue. Customer service isn't any help either.

I am also having problems with my ninja coffee maker. Bought at xmas in 2016. I have had to clean this unit once a month aprox since new. Now unit gives a end of brew beep beep beep and only makes a ounce of coffee.

Instead, I get three minutes of this kid talking down to me, telling me I pushed the wrong button on the machine - the machine I've been successfully using for the past 2-3 years. I too have one that is defective, brewing just over half of amount selected. I've called customer service, they say it needs cleaning with a commercial descaling product. Did that, no change, called back, now perhaps it's air locked. Not the problem either, the machine is defective, can't be resolved without replacement. Seems the water evaporates before it ever gets to the cup/pot. Bought my son one for Christmas, his works great. Disappointed that mine did not meet expectations. Sadly have to agree that the Ninja Coffee bar is not worth the price.

i have multiple types of coffee machines Varismo by Starbucks, Cuisinart single serve coffee machine n i wanted to try the ninja coffee bar machine . I am a trucker n on da road often n home very little time but when home i alternate coffee machines n i use to have a 12 volt Cuisinart coffee machine as well n have had that unit in truck for bout 16 yrs n they don't make those any longer n i have overhauled unit several times but now having trouble with electronic circuitry n decided to purchase 2000 watt power inverter to be able n take ninja coffee bar in truck n i used it for a week on truck but then company bought new trucks n i was issued one , so i decided to put that same power inverter into truck n the 1st time in this new truck , the clean light illuminated on it n i went ahead n bought vinegar n saw the utube video on descailing coffee bar n , coffee bar only excretes bout n ounce of water, n i do have on proper setting size (pitcher) n discontinued using cuz on every cycle n on every size n types of coffee, machine only excretes bout n ounce to ounce n a half or so. I am very disappointed in the Ninja Coffee bar n don't know what i could do for machine to perform how it is intended to work. I have also purchased descailing liquid, sold at Wal-Mart n same results.

So, we too have this $200+ piece of Ninja that we purchased in Sept. 2016; it will not brew a complete cycle and requires us to push the brew button multiple times to get a full pot of coffee. I'm not cleaning or descaling it ANYMORE, as I have had it with this thing. While this product did make good coffee for 13 months, it is now taking, as opposed to adding, to my Life. What I am going to do (after I go buy a MUCH less expensive, dependable coffeemaker) is contact the Attorney General in my State and see what, if anything, can be done about this expensive fraud we've all be victim to.

What good does always telling people to contact you do, when we are all having the same issue. Maybe you should do a recall and replace all of them with something that actually works. I have had mine since December and it is always telling me to clean it and never makes a pot without having to push the button a bunch of times. Obviously this is a common occurrence, so do something about it.

I have to agree. I contacted them and they sent me a new unit. Great. Worked for a little while... now the new one is doing the same thing. There is something clearly wrong with this coffee maker. What am I supposed to do at this point? Continue contacting them? Will they even believe me? This is ridiculous. I’m gonna buy myself a nice tea kettle and switch to pour over.

Clean the valve in the bottom of the water reservoir. Compressed air should do the trick. Also, if you're using a permanent filter, make sure to push the brew basket all the way in until it clicks. You're going to have to force it a little, but it has to click. This fixed my Five Beeps of Death issue.

I have the ninja dual brew coffee maker and when I put the brew basket in and shut it completely it all of a sudden stopped working. nothing will appear on the screen except for the light for the water, pod, and ground indicating that there is no met criteria. I called customer service and performed some additional troubleshooting, but nothing worked for this issue. Next steps are to either send the machine directly to Ninja and wait for a replacement machine (a week or more) or return it to the store. I've decided to return the machine to the store where I purchased it for a full refund. It's a shame, we really liked the machine for the few weeks that it worked.

I have had my coffee ninja for one month, the clean cycle light went on, I ran so far five clean cycles in a period of two days and the light will not go off. no clue how to fix this.

We had the same issue. They replaced it once. We were using tap water which is very hard. We started using RO water and Distilled water and we no longer have the issue. It is a pain using bottled water but the machine runs more efficiently.

my coffee bar has been cleaned and the light is off. I have it set to brew a full pot and it only brews about 1/8th of a pot and we have to push the classic brew button 5 or 6 times to get a full pot. then it beeps 5 times when it stops. then we have to press the keep warm button. ugh

I received this as a gift a year ago and never had any issues until now. The display screen is stuck on "clean". I've tried cleaning it as I normally would and nothing happened. I turned it off and turned it back on and nothing happened. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and nothing changed -- the screen is still displaying "clean" without allowing me to use any functions. It was okay while it lasted, but I would not recommend this or purchase this machine again.

Despite pushing the brew basket all the way in, the the machine still reads the drip stop closed regardless of it's position meaning it will not brew coffee, which renders it a 10 lb paperweight..

So mine, no matter what size is selected will start to brew . . . then somewhere before its done i beeps and stops . . . sometimes it makes a 1/3 of a pot, sometimes 2/3 . . . never completes. And the clean light comes on no matter how many times you clean it . . . i have use store bought coffee pot cleaner and also tried vinegar . . . but no matter what the clean light comes on as soon as you try to make a pot of coffee after its been cleaned. . . . i have cleaned it 10 times in a row with no luck.

So i added a message to their facebook page and within an hour had a call from their customer service manager. They are emailing me a fedex shipping label to send back my defective unit. And are shipping a new one out today. None of this is costing me a dime. They have sold a bunch of these, so you have to expect a small portion will have an issue like any other product. Their customer service was VERY GOOD to me!!

I think ninja should just send everyone their $200 back and admit they fucked up and they need to pull them off the market until they have fixed it. I am on my 2nd one, they replaced my 1st one b4 i had it a year for the same BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP issue and i bought a mr coffee for $10 till my replacement arrived. Probably within 6 months my replacement one started doing the same thing and after cleaning i still couldn't brew a full carafe so i put it in a closet and used my mr coffee and was happy again. I just recently got the ninja back out and cleaned it again and used it for 3 days and the clean light is on again and can't get a full brew out of it. I just unplugged it this morning and got mr coffe out again. I am sure i will not get another FREE replacement and not sure that i want to hope to get one that will work. I have screwdrivers and am not adverse to tearing down mr ninja and finding my own resolution because the ninja people can resolve anyones issues. This will be my project next Saturday. Very very unhappy customer.

Why does mine taste so bitter and the grinds are in the bottom of my cup? I can't even use it to make coffee anymore. 😕 I've cleaned it several times. I've had it since Christmas and never had any issues. I always make the same drink. Caramel latte. But haven't been able to for a couple months because of this issue.

What do I do when my coffee maker after a year will not make the desire or amount of coffee that I selected and I made sure I cleaned it. It was fully closed and the drip stop is open and it still will not make the desire amount that I selected weather it's full craft weather it's cup or travel.. it's is a year old now too

NEW OUT OF THE BOX AND DOESN'T WORK! I was super excited about my new Ninja Coffee Bar and i tested it the first night with just making a cup of coffee on the 'Cup' setting and it made perfect. So i prepared it for the delay time brew for the early AM and the delay worked, but brewed maybe a 4oz of coffee when i was asking for half a carafe. Kept pushing buttons like it was a vending machine trying to brew the rest. AND that was yesterday morning. I had time to test tonight and NO matter what setting you choose, Cup, Travel Mug, Half Carafe, and Full Carafe, it will brew for 5-7 seconds and then "BEEP BEEP BEEP". And done... I have the CF081 series if that is an issue. PLEASE HELP I HATE PUSHING BUTTONS THAT EARLY!!!

I have read a bunch of negative comments, so I thought I would add my 2 cents worth. I have had mine for 5 years, and have yet to run in to any realm problems. NO COMPLAINTS. It's a machine, you have to do MINOR maintenance. (I could say mine runs out of water when I don't add more. Why doesn't one filter full of coffee last me for one year?).

Have one for about a year and even though sometimes it does not brew the desire amount of coffee I have liked so far, so much that I gifted one to my parents in Christmas and now a two months later theirs got the cleaning light on and even though we went through all the possible steps in cleaning it , the light and code will not turn off nor will it let us program time or anything else. So disappointed because they were realy happy with the machine until now.

i can't understand why my Ninja Coffee Bar stops working with less then a half of a cup. I've cleaned it with the clean cycle and it stops while doing that too. We've stopped using it because it was ridiculous and when a family member asked how I liked it, I said when it worked, it was great, and that was less then 20 pots of coffee, then it just stopped working properly. the customer service says if you pay to send it we're fine with fixing...my problem is that as I read, its not just me...its Lots and Lots on Facebook too. so is there a solution? I believe it has something to do with the initial heating element getting too hot. I have a Nespresso machine that is about 10 years old and its perfect for those espresso shots, but really wanted to have a good coffee maker that made great coffee by the pot. and that this coffee pot was not cheap...was debating between the Cuisinart and this, and because i'm such a fan of Ninja products I chose this one...anyone have info on what I could do?

Mine leaks all around where the basket slides in and out, looks like from steam condensation. Makes good coffee but I expected a better design from Ninja. I like my Ninja mixer but this is way below my expectations. I see the one I purchased is no longer available on Amazon where I got this one.

I've had a ten dollar Mr. Coffee last 10 years and my Ninja didn't last one. Brew cycle would abruptly stop, and you had to keep pushing the darn button for the cycle to complete. Brew basket never fit flush; poorly made and way overpriced.

that was not my experience. I should have to pay to return a coffee machine I paid neatly $200 dollars for. I stand by what I posted. Also I don't appreciate someone trying to sell me another machine on a so called support call. it should be about the customer totally. If I'd brought a $29 coffee pot it would still be working. if your product fails it should be replaced at no inconvenience to the customer. The machine is crap and the support reps are unprofessional.

So Now I've been asked to respond by private message to the Ninja Support people in order to stop the public posts about the product. I'm getting the same canned answers from different people each time I respond telling me to clean the coffeemaker which I have cleaned at least 11 times already. THE PRODUCT IS CRAP AND NO AMOUNT OF CLEANING IS GOING TO RESOLVE A COMPUTER PROBLEM. JUST PUTTING PEOPLE OFF WILL NOT HELP YOUR CAUSE. I was so stoked to receive my Ninja.. after about three months in tho it became a pain. It’s junk and I ended up donating it to goodwill. Sticking to my Keurig from now on. It only brews about 1/3 of what it’s supposed to.. difficult to thoroughly clean, takes too long to brew a cup.. this junk is so overrated. Better off buying a 15 brewer at dollar store.

my ninja coffee maker isn't working . It's brew a little then shut off . I have to stand there and keep pushing the brew button over and over till it's empty.

Mine's doing the same thing. After only 3 weeks, I can't get rid of the "Five Beeps of Death". Stop drip is properly set, brew basket is properly positioned, even tried "bubble trick". IT DOESN'T WORK!!!

How am I supposed to clean the machine when the thing only runs about 4oz of water through it and stops on the "Clean" cycle? Ninja you need to give an actual human response to this question not some prescripted-bot reply. Please don't tell me to call you or refer to the website because I have done both and neither has helped me at all

13 months after purchase and my coffee ninja does not dispense water on any brew cycle or size. It does dispense water for cleaning. Called customer service who asked me to push in and wiggle the plug on the coffee maker (under the water canister). Didn't work, of course, so they offered a replacement for $140. Really??? Don't bother with this coffee maker, you will be disappointed.

This coffee maker just does not get hot enough for me. I called, and a lady from Ninja and she said what's hot to you may not be hot to me. "Please" don't insult my intelligence. Then she says it stays hot for 72 hours, power off, then power on. I did, I'm still not convinced. So my question is, anyone else having this problem?

YES! That’s another issue I had as well! Does NOT get very hot and the heat plate thingy goes off in no time! The brew always seems inconsistent. Just when I thought I had it right, the taste completely changes into that super bitter, give ya an ulcer, nauseating Java. Sucks after paying so much for this junk.

We have the same problem. Push the button 300 times for a pot. We just called them and they told us they will ship a new one but we have to pay shipping. So we ship it back and when they get it, they will ship the new one. Until then, no coffee I guess. Terrible service but we already paid for it once and paid shipping, so we're stuck. I hope we get the new one. DON'T BUY THIS THING!!!!!!!

We must be in phase II...first was the clean light is always on no matter what is done and now the beeps and undetermined amount of water fills cup. The customer service wants us to pay freight etc. to return...looking at video...young guy with obvious answers as if we are sooo stupid,,,millennials!

My classic Brew and my rich Brew keep shutting off in the middle of making my cup of coffee anybody have any ideas thank you I keep it clean by the way and my Brew button is all the way open and everything is done the way it's supposed to be

I bought two in 3 yrs. I wish I had read the comments here and knew that my first one wasn't unique that these just have a problem with the cleaning programming or sensors I've always used filtered water and I don't see any calcium anywhere I thought the first one was defective I bought a second one now and it's doing the same thing after only about two months of use I bought a second one because Walmart said they only warranty them for and take him back after 30 days therefore I would only recommend that you buy another machine because for $150 plus tax give me a break twice now I know it's just a bad machine with a defective design I encourage all others with the same problem to post your comments here

This product is poorly designed. I have water leaking from the basket and there is constant water connected. Constant water on the counter. To have a hot model promote a piece of crap is a joke. Will never buy one of these products again.

This coffee bar is the worst! It's only a matter of time before it no longer works. Mine took less than two weeks. I shouldn't have to troubleshoot a brand new product. No quality!
