Thanks for the advice on catching in the shallows. I've only been trout fishing once on fly rod OMG it didn't go well but then again I was about 14 & me & my cousin had no clue lol. I'll try trout fishing your way next week. 🎣😎🐟

The most beautiful country in the world 🏴🏴🏴 . I could take you to some amazing places to fish 🐟 around Scotland. Been fishing and travelling around Scotland for about 30 years fishing . Wild ponds the size of 1 half of a football pitch with massive pike and perch or massive lochs with monster trout and pike . Love my country 🏴🏴

What a way to spend it aye pal? The beauty of them and the power pound for pound doesn’t come close to much in the UK - also the environment what’s better?! To make Scotland that bit better if you fancy some beasts you hit the Pike the salmon or even the Pollock!! 😆 should be proud sir!

Great video. I'm thinking about buying a new rod for trout fishing in rivers and lochs do you have and recommendations. I have tried fishing a few times but got nothing, also what lures is best for trout? Thanks
@japanesefishingadventures Жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed pal! 😃 can’t go wrong with the fish rig 180 from rigged and ready for me! It’s a telescopic which sounds problematic, but it’s such a fun rod and based on a Japanese design! Comes in a perfect travel case so fits in a suitcase (if you’re going away) but also does the job on the rivers for big and small trout! Use it for all my trout fishing and can also cope with anything that’s thrown at it! Eg a 15ib+ Carp that I stumbled upon whilst in Japan haha! Two different tips come with the rod as well and a 2 year guarantee if it breaks etc. Use RRBA10 and get 10% off! appreciate I work with Rigged and Ready so obviously I will promote their gear, but the reason behind that is because I bought a rod off Amazon and loved it then emailed the owner expressing my love for their stuff and here we are now! 😀 lure wise, salmo minnow is a god! But I would also recommend (for a cheaper price) the little S from NineSevenTungsten unbelievable little lures and if that fails SPINNER! Trout love spinners more than their life I think 😅 hope this points you in the right direction and sorry for the essay!
@georgeholmes60992 жыл бұрын
Amazing again! Does the lure sit on the surface? How does it not snag - because you're always reeling it in? Cheers
@japanesefishingadventures2 жыл бұрын
No, it rotates through the water, constant retrieve helps it not get snagged but the hook is shaped to avoid getting caught on rocks!:D thanks for watching pal)
