In this video, I'm exploring a tiny stream that didn't look super impressive from the road. However it turned out to be an oasis and packed with wild brown trout. It's the classic tiny stream that I've heard others comment, they'd walk past searching for bigger water! How you approach these gems is also super important...I stay off the ridges...keep low, often crouching...avoid the common casting areas. For example in one situation, I duck under a lay down rather than cross the ridge which would have spooked any fish in the pool! That technique has helped me regardless of the stream size or size of the fish that live in it! It seems like a lot of work but the reward of knowing it paid off can't be fully appreciated, until you've done it!
