Cheeseman survived the Hayman fire. It’ll be alright. Some just need to find new honey holes.

Bro I’m personally saying thank you for making this video and narrating such great detail, and even giving a shout out to Pat Dorsey saying that if he’s giving the fish a break that you are to which in turn, hopefully everyone watching this video well especially those of us you know how special that place is I really appreciate you making this video bro. Great job.

Thanks for the video. I wondered what the conditions were but haven't been able to get out to see it myself.

Great job with the narration, photos and drone video. Ask the fisheries biologist for advice in the decision making process?

The issue with the Big T when it flooded was the sediment seemed to kill off the bugs. The fish survived the flood, but didn't survive the winter as the food ran out. In the Poudre, the numbers were way down for a while, but I'm not sure if it killed off the insects.

I don't know for a fact, but I believe there was a lot more fine sediment involved with those two incidents. That finer sediment makes it harder for aquatic bugs to do aquatic bug things.

Just a note. 100 yr floods do not mean once every hundred years. I lived along the Yellowstone river for awhile and we had back-to-back 100 yr floods. “On average”

Thats a huge bummer. At least there was not an immediate fish kill. I was heartbroken with what happened to the poudre river with the mudslides after the Cameron peak fire. That said nature finds a way and even that is starting to come back.

how's tanner doing with the cancer?
@TroutsFlyFishing Жыл бұрын
Tanner is battling. He is responding well enough to treatment that he's been able to get out fishing after he recovers from chemo. So, that's super encouraging. Hopefully, he'll know more in the next month or so.
