Deserves to get in the Hall of Fame. Part of one of my favorite eras of football, guys played hard to the whistle back then and you had to know where Troy Polamalu was when you played the Steelers, and they moved Troy around so much, he could cover, he could tackle, and he just made an awesome chess piece for that defense and that made the Steelers a formidable opponent through the latter part of the 2000's.

Congratulations Troy I played in the shrine game against him when he was at Douglas high school in southern Oregon a lot of us had no clue who he was. I grew up in Portland about 3 hours away and when we saw him we were amazed at how good he was and he wasn’t very big at all but he was a maniac!!! Congratulations Troy! Good job fellow Oregonian!

So glad that my family was there in Canton, Ohio to witness this event. They were invited guests. We met the Polamalu family years ago as Troy grew up right up the street from my uncle. To see his talent and the athletic talent of his family members is priceless. This is one beautiful family. Thank you Pittsburgh Steelers for gearing Troy up for this well deserved moment. Congratulations again, Troy. God bless you and this beautiful family. Love you all.. 🏈

The Greatest to ever do it , I’m glad he is in the hall of fame he deserves it 💯💯💯✊🏼✊🏼🐐🐐 they should have a defense award named after him. I had his number when I played football in H.S. A big inspiration 💯💯

I wish his speech was longer, I’m curious to see what else he would have said.
