I can imagine how many takes it took to get that reunion scene. In all reality, those who do not believe in a Holy, and Mighty G-D. Might consider how even going back to the days of the greeks, even further back the Egyptians and Chinese. Even back then it was known of a life that follows this life. While I agree that this is a relatively poor B movie, there are a lot of misconceptions about the death of Achilles. Even the Armand Assante series is not accurate. I enjoyed the Troy movie very much although Brad Pitt was disappointed (?). There was nothing written about the death of Achilles except for when Odysseus meets his ghost in Hades when trying to get home. I read the Iliad and Odyssey books as a kid and wondered for many years about Achilles. The stories were written by other authors that included his being dipped in the Styx river except for his heel. No authors even came close to Homer. The following epic poem, The Aeneid, was written by Virgil, a Roman. The book is pretty awful and even Romans had trouble reading it. Boring! On his deathbed, the author asked for it to be destroyed, but Augustus, ‘Octavian’ did not allow it. That is what I read over many years, so take it for what it is. I asked an older historian and she said she had no clue about Achilles death. I really disliked the poor Troy, Tale of a city series.

Thre very serious problem with this movie story it's that the fight between Héctor and achilles never happen it not true it was added by the book wrinting but in Reality achilles would have never kill Héctor because achilles was not the greatest Warrior it was Héctor see the movie and check out when achilles falls down taking down by Héctor sword than achilles takes the broken lance and jumps in to Héctor chest and getting his heart and kill him in the moment but when you read the story book and check all of the movies about Troy your Reality is truly something else you will noticed that the fight between Héctor and achilles never and i mean never never happen there is nothing else outhere

Your hilarious. The only account of the siege on Troy IS from Homers Iliad. Without it we would never even have any awareness of Troy, or this war. And we don’t even know if it was a true story or completely made up. There is nothing in existence that would give you the idea that Hector was even real, let alone, proof that the fight never happened. Stop learning history from Hollywood movies my friend, and documentaries. Read books by actual historians.
