Maybe I missed it, but I don't think you mentioned how players can spend influence to modify their dice: either 1 influence to reroll a die or 4 influence to turn a die over to the opposite side. I think this is a significant mechanic along with buying other players dice because it allows players to substantially mitigate bad dice rolls, unlike games like Stone Age and Kingsburg.

quite obscure attempt to explain the core game play.. "essentially the game revolves all around those dice", yet the dice and their colors/quantity are first shown on minute 11 of 13. could have benefited from a much different order of explanation and of showing a sample turn or part of it. thanks for the review though, one can get the point if tries hard and watches twice.

I have NO IDEA how this game plays from this video. Oh gosh! I watched it twice! It did not even show how a round works. Anyone knows a good video? This game is released soon again.

Kristo Vaher I tried watching this and Rahdo Runs Through. Neither worked until I downloaded the PDF rulebook and then re-watched the videos. The rulebook is pretty clear, but I can understand why it's confusing to teach.

I have to agree that the rule book is very well written. I watched Rahdos playthrough then read the rules and after that everything should be clear.

Great review as usual. My only feedback would be to include some commentary about the quality of the components and art in your reviews. This is in direct contrast to Tom Vasel, who I think spends too MUCH time talking about the components and art. :)

Review issues: pedantic, disjointed, & forced. Maybe practice a bit and watch your video first to check to see if you are lecturing or describing a game.

This video aged badly. I got to minute 6 when I gave up on trying to keep up. Super confusing, maybe if someone invites me to a table I'll play it, otherwise I'll forget this game.
