This video shows you how to install a TRQ water pump in your 2005-2007 Ford Five Hundred. The water pump keeps coolant flowing through your engine. Common failures of the water pump will leave the coolant leaking, or stagnant. Both will lead to overheating if left untreated. Install a new engineered to fit water pump from TRQ for total peace of mind.

Thanks, great video! One note: buy the 1AA Auto pump for $72 or you can buy the Ford original for $300. Just don't buy Dorman. Dorman has a total design failure and doesn't have a center bolt. It totally depends on slot on the camshaft to turn. It will only last ~15K miles and tear up the the end of the camshaft when it fails and leave you stranded on the side of the road.

Any idea what seals the pump to the valve cover? I’m leaking right there. I can’t tell if I need a new pump, gasket, or what.

What happens if i dont get hot air after a good amount of time? Does that mean i messed something up? Not getting hot air through the vents like you said to do in the last part… everything else was super helpful
