power sterrimg pulley was a SOB to get off. No Rust, just stuck real good. Broke my plastic pulley and spent 2-3 hrs using a puller. And not breaking everything.

I would have ran the engine and hat the heater on. Let that thermostat cycle a few time's. The hot coolant isn't going to hurt the spill free funnel. I have that same Funnel and it's one of my favorite tool's.

"I have a quick question. After watching your video, I noticed that you didn't use any water pump RTV sealant. I own a 2006 Mustang V6 and I want to do some preventative maintenance by replacing the water pump, since I need a new radiator anyway. I figured, why not replace the water pump along with all the hoses and the serpentine belt too? My question is, my new Motorcraft water pump comes with a metal gasket. I was reading the manual, which says to add RTV to the gasket. However, I have seen your video and others that don't recommend it. So, should we add RTV or not?" Thank you in advance.

I was taught by a mechanic to open the radiator cap and put a funnel on it when heating up the car. Add coolant and it gets sucked in whioe air releases out. Radiator Cap/funnel vs Resevouir. I wonder which removes more air.

Whatever you guys do do not break the heater hose coming from the water pump going to the heater core. You can’t order them in store or online. If anyone has any info at all that can help I’d appreciate it I got work in 3 days and I’m trying to get this fixed
