My 2012 Mk6 GTI is losing coolant, have to top it off occasionally, becoming more frequent.. suspect water pump failure due to what appears like coolant dripping from the belly pan area. Thank you for this! Side note, your video here is almost therapeutic, strange as that sounds.. love that you don't have any crazy blaring music or unnecessary, over lengthy talking, just to the point, straightforward steps. Really appreciate it!

So you basically have to disassemble the car to replace a water pump on a GTI.

So you took off the updated aluminum pump and you put back on the original plastic pump that’s odd

I like you didnt take the inlet manifold off but if you did would save you so much more time and alot less dismantling Real patients hats off to you 👌👌
