This video shows you how to install a serpentine belt idler pulley on your 2000-2007 Ford Focus 2.0L L4. That squealing noise coming from your vehicle’s engine compartment could be a slipping belt, or it could be a bad pulley bearing, or both. A bad pulley could eventually damage the belt, which could create even further damage.
This repair was done on a 2006 Ford Focus ZX4 2.0L Sedan 4-Door FWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
