Good video, small suggestion.. suggest checking master cylinder fluid level before compressing caliper cylinder in. Also you're not moving air, if you had air in the line we'd have a different video. Finally compressing the caliper cylinder all that way when installing same rotor and pads is not necessary, and can damage some abs systems or master cylinders.

For the caliper pins, I was taught the pin with the rubber bushing is always the trailing pin. Putting it at the top would make it the leading pin as the wheel moves forward. Are you sure it should go at the top?

Was it a bad idea to anti on the bolts for the hub then torque to 35ft-lbs? I'm in Wisconsin and they didn't want to come out very wheel all rusty cleaned off with wire wheel but figured for the next time the next person gonna be thankful.

I tried this but I just need to get the stud onto the hub n that’s it but the bolts are giving me hell I’m guessing that u have to remove the hub nut then try taking them off?

What do you recommend as a brake lubricant to prevent the breaks from squealing?

I never understood why other techs always take the caliper and then the bracket off when you can just take the bracket off and save yourself a step and second why would you compress the caliper after you loosened it

Maybe they put new brake pads on but forget to tell us.

I cheated, supported the caliper and bracket instead of taking it off the bracket lol much less time consuming
