When pressing the new hub you didn’t explain the setup holding the bearings in place, also you should pack the cavities around the seals and bearings with grease also around the cap, this prevents early water intrusion

He did not take the time to show how he reinserted the HUB after having pressed in bearings and hammered on the seals. He showed how it was pressed out. I’m about to tackle the job and will rent the set of different diameter cylinders Nedra to support the bearings as I press. One could easily press apart the bearing races or loosen them if they aren’t properly supported while pressing on the hub or ANYTHING. Am I correct?

Good thing the next gen tundra decided to go with a bolt on bearing. Press on ones will sometimes come back, it’s a 50/50 job am thinking depending on getting it right while pressing it in.

Hi everyone! Have a dilemma here! I changed both front wheels hub and bearings, installed new tires, new ball joints, new inner and outer tie rods on both sides, realigned tires and the noise still there (humming noise) it can only be heard while driving inside the cabin, I put the GoPro and doesn’t pick up the noise at all! Any one knows something else that could be causing this noise? Is driving me crazy! Please help! Thanks

Wow! I have a 2000. No rust. That truck has or had a terrible owner. I live in kcmo, so there is plenty of salt used in the winter
