I like this idea because once my halos go out, whenever that happens, I can easily remove them and replace with new ones. I might even prefer this method for my sequential drls since I'm opening my headlight housings anyway to black out the chrome and install halos/drls. Both the halos and the drls have 3m tape on the backs of them but I don't think Im gonna use it now. I greatly appreciate this tip because now if I have any issues with the lights I can easily replace them. Awesome!

@@Kyezie131 you can either solder it directly to the wiring harness or you can solder in a pigtail connector. The latter is the better option as it will allow you to remove the headlight assembly without having to cut and resolder. If your asking how to wire them in it depends of when you want to halos illuminated. So if you want to run them with your drls then you would locate the positive and negative ( some dont have negative wires) then splice into the power wire and solder the halo into the exsisting circuit. You will end up with a Y power in one way and out 2. If you have a negative wire you do the same if not you can ground it anywhere on the body of the car. Let me know if theres anything you don't understand.

@@lilblingking1491 soldering is very easy, I can give you a quick walkthrough if you like. A soldering iron isn't even really required for wires this size. A multimeter would be useful to determine which wire supplies 12v but also not needed.

I'm looking to install those on my g37 but I don't like how they look when they are not turned on, all yellow and shit. is there a way to change that without affecting the led bulbs on the strip. make the strip gray or white?

hi iv bought a pair of projectors and h1 led bulbs, but instead of using the harness and ballast, I just wanted the projectors and leds and using the stock wiring and then have dual high and low beams. If I joined the high beam wire to the low beam bulb and turned my highs on, would it make my low beam bulb the highs as well. Hopefully u someone will understand what I'm trying to say lol

My first time trying to install one of these. Question: when I install these, can I make them turn on or off along with the demon eyes anytime I want while driving? And when I apply the e brake I only want the angle eyes or demon eyes on. Is that possible? And how do I do that? I have a 13 wrx if that would help

WRX CREED it would need to re map the lighting in the ecu of your vehicles. Usually angel eyes on along with the small lights, or within the small lights sockets

Hi, for the amber functionality you would tap into the tire signal wire. The one that’s not the black one right?

Yes for the turn signal you would tap the orange wire into the + turn signal wire on your car. These halos do not have the turn signal function though, so that wire is not present in this video.

We don't have that vehicles halo size on file unfortunately. The easiest way to figure out would be to measure the diameter of your factory projector shroud!

Its just part of it - the halo is the ring being mounted to the chrome part of the headlight in the video. Its a universal add-on for most all headlights really

Drill a small hole under the halo, de-pin the JST connector, pass the wires through the inside of the shroud, and re-install the connector.

You could, but JB Weld would be better. Glue might wear out overtime due to the heat in the headlight, and you don't want your halos hanging around.

Those systems can be so picky, They can be very touchy and unfortunately there isn’t a real fix for it other than repositioning the angel eyes.
