The USA, unlike the EU and Turkiye, won't be bothered much if Russia wins. For the USA, it is important that as much damage is inflicted at its rival, Russia, without the loss of a single American soldier. The Americans are already boasting about how they have already harmed Russia with only 5% of their defense industry funds. Basically, the USA will want to fight Russia till the last Ukrainian. The biggest loser in this conflict, is the poor population of Ukraine. Really sad.

"For the USA, it is important that as much damage is inflicted at its rival, Russia, without the loss of a single American soldier." We've known this kind of tactic since Operation Ajax 1953, so save your sermon for your own self-indulgence, clown. Meanwhile the war still cost more lives for the Ukrainian side for a mere 1/4 of the casualties they caused in return, and the Ukrainian are now resorting to their Third Reich's most favorite tactic 8 decades prior; senseless bombing. Back then it was using V1 and V2 rockets for shock value alone, and now it's using Drone and Storm Shadow rockets for shock value alone :^) Oh and guess what? despite all of that Propagandized loss you are celebrating, Russian economy and their military industries remained so unaffected that they even were able to restart their T-80 tank production, a tank series which mind you can cost equivalent, if not more than building an Abrams for export sale :^) "Without the loss of a single American soldier" Yet suicides amongst veteran that came from the iraqi war and Afghanistan war still becoming a trend over there, especially when 20 years worth of time wasted all for nothing with your country's utter and humiliating defeat in Afghanistan 2 years prior. There's also the fact that enlisted US Soldier and veterans are actually present in Ukraine under the guise of "foreign volunteers", and their death are equally as high as their Banderites Bozo brothers but because the foreign volunteers record of KIA are shoddy as best, no one knew how many of them died a dog's death on the land they weren't even born in. So much for "not losing a single american soldier" :^)

The Ukrainians were not defeated by the "Surovikin" line. They have not been able to reach the line. They were defeated by competent Russian tactics at the line of contact. I know many people feel uneasy to say "competent" and "Russian" in the same sentence but this is the truth. The Russian army fought well and won. The "Surovikin" line was never tested by the Ukrainians so we will never know how it would hold up.

AFU lost 80k troops during counter offensive this is big one but nobody is talking about injuries that would be around 2 times of that figure. In that case out of 300k troops it trained it lost almost 70% from being active duty. If this continues for 2 or 3 more years total fatality will be 600 - 800k killed and injuries in millions. That is a disaster for Ukraine once this war end. Ukraine lost everything, land, economy, manpower, military and once manpower and military is severely download Russia will take more land as an act of revenge. In the end American won short term goal by degrading the Russian power but lost in checkmating long term goal on China which is now got all benefits from Russian downgrade. Russian permanently downgrade its relationship with west and all of its resources are now going to go to Asia so loss for Europe. Europe economy is going to get downgraded due to inflation as China can scope out its market. Ukraine people should wake up, know the reality and save anything that is left. I think this thought will live in this comment section and Zelensky will escape Ukraine after the defeat and say to US employer that the job you gave is now done.
@linkmeforfun
@linkmeforfun Жыл бұрын
But, instead of Russia downgrading, it has strengthened. It has built up its military-industrial complex to a status that the West can't match. It has managed to buttress its economy by divorcing it from the Western vulnerabilities. The West can no longer use economic sanctions as a weapon against Russia. Sanctions were the only effective tools in the Western armory against Russia - a Nuclear superpower. Russia has effectively blunted and nullified these economic weapons. The short of nuclear suicide, the West can no longer threaten Russia.

@@iamnothing85 Unfortunately, I think that the appetites of our officials have only grown, while the opportunities have just increased, because the Ukrainian army was the most numerous in Europe, and now it is gone. At the time of the collapse of the USSR Ukraine had GDP more than Poland and Portugal, was the second military force in Europe after Russia. Of course, everything fell apart in 30 years, but still, given the huge stockpiles of weapons, it was the real and only force to be reckoned with in Russia. Don't get me wrong, but our generals don't take NATO seriously at all, and I'm afraid it's just beginning.
@iamnothing85
@iamnothing85 11 ай бұрын
@@Samurai___Jack Agree with you the war will increase the appetites. As I said in my original comment the Ukrainian army and their future is finished for next 2 decades at least. The economics of war has switched now because in afghan-soviet war, the tanks are costly but hand held rocket launcher that US developed was cheap but now the Russians can produce equipment cheap but NATO weapons are costlier and instead of hand held rocket the drones are used, so war of attrition is very costly for western country and the cost of refilling those equipment is going to be even more costly due to inflation problem. Again lets see only time will tell.

Contrary to Western expectations, the much-touted counteroffensive attempt launched by the Kyiv regime on June 4 has stalled without making a breakthrough, BBC news reported, citing Ukrainian soldiers. The broadcaster's correspondent spoke to servicemen of the 24th Mechanized Brigade and their families, who have complained about preparing for "a long war with no end in sight." "The summer counteroffensive in Ukraine is drawing to a close without making the breakthroughs so many had hoped for," the reporter stressed. Despite the enormous amount of military equipment supplied by NATO countries to Ukraine, the West has failed to "outgun Russia," with Russian forces successfully repelling Ukrainian attacks, destroying and capturing foreign military equipment. The BBC correspondent noted that Russia surpasses Ukraine in number of drones, which have been ravaging Ukrainian positions and armored vehicles. Thus, Kiev's troops are forced to hide as much as possible due to poor air defense and the total dominance of Russia in the air. "The Ukrainians say [Russia] has far more drones, which makes camouflage and remaining unseen vital. So, we were expecting a fire mission within 5 minutes, and then word came down on the radio to stand down because a Russian drone has been sighted somewhere near here," the report said. If Ukrainian forces fail to hide, Russian troops wipe out their vehicles and military personnel. This is typical of what has been taking place: a constant battle of wits, a deadly battle of wits. This Russian video shows what happens if you get it wrong: Ukrainian self-propelled guns destroyed. Moreover, even when Zelensky's troops do take cover, the Russian forces reduce their strongholds to rubble. Hence, the Ukrainian troops either continue protecting NATO's interests in constant fear, or they desert to save their lives. However, those who fail to surrender to the Russian forces are killed by their own comrades, as there are special units in the Ukrainian Army tasked with murdering their own men for refusing to "die a pointless death." Adding up to a rather bleak mood among the Ukrainian soldiers, the BBC reporter mentioned the uncertainty of when their demobilization will happen. "No date has been set for their demobilization. It's extremely hard to live with that. Just how hard we saw at the medical center, where one casualty was being brought in. It was described as a panic attack and even armed presence was setting people on edge," the correspondent emphasized.

1.5 million soldiers that Ukraine mobilized were supposed to crush Russian troops in Ukraine, whose number does not exceed 400 thousand. But they did not take into account that 1 million who were forced into the army are Russians who will not fight for the Nazi regime of Ukraine, which forbade their children to study in their native language. There are widespread refusals to go into battle, threats and demonstrative killings of dissenters used to help, but when death is guaranteed in minefields under a hail of shells and bombs, no threats help anymore.

Ukrainians never "recaptured" Kherson or Kharkiv. They were never in Kharkiv to begin with, and they had no troops in the Kharkiv oblast, except for some LPR militias. Ukrainians outnumbered LPR more then 15 to 1, and they had moved to their territory where, when they actually put up a fight Ukrainians were stopped. In Kherson, they had left in order to hold the line they need (a land bridge with Crimea, the reason they entered Ukraine in the first place), without any fight for the city. Just these two facts show everything needed to know about how thought through and objective this video is in less then one minute in. I haven't watched the rest of the video after these factual errors, so I can only assume what conclusions it draws regarding this counter offensive, but the fact is it is probably the greatest military failure in modern history.

Ukrainian offensive didn't fail. For the sake of truth, Ukraine as a state failed; and failed completely following the instructions issued by it's NATO allies, mostly British, American and French. Brief summary: 1. millions fled the country running for dear life to the west (about 7 mil) and to Russia (about 5 mil.) 2. millions displaced inside Ukraine. 3. Production facilities decimated as well as infrastructure (electricity, transportation) 4. Economy is devastated. Ukraine is totally dependent of foreign aid. 5. Culture and sport unrooted while education has turned into brainwashing propaganda. Yet, 6. between 4 and 5 hundred 000s of deaths. 7. more than a million of wounded or maimed... Ukrainian story is a sheer tragedy designed and executed by the western powers: GB, USA and France.

"Ukraine is turning into a giant military cemetery Military publics have reported about the opening of a new cemetery in Krivoy Rog for the personnel of the 17th Special Brigade and the 93rd Specialized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine." "Foreign fighters back from the front lines report a mismanaged and chaotic Ukrainian military using ill conceived tactics. Some say that the units they were assigned to have lost 80% or more of their men in recent months. Ukraine military leadership has also been misusing their fleet of tanks and armored vehicles from NATO, sending them ‘straight into mine fields’ in some cases. As volunteers note, the Ukrainians were given training on how to operate the vehicles, but no training on how to use them effectively in a fight."

Nothing new , all wars create cemeteries , but for sure the Ukraine will not hide their dead like Russia , in the meanwhile one goes with the tactical assessments from the more credible sources especially from those ex senior Generals who work in an advisory capacity and of course one does have ones own experience to gleam from , and can see the ground today after some 583 days make a tactical appreciation based on the disposition of the Russian forces who are in effect in a deliberate defensive posture and tactically withdrawing in places and yet appear to be once more in familiar territory with their backs to the gates of Moscow , only this time they are not as tough or motivated as the troops re: Operation Uranus , the Russian counter attack of 19-23 November 1942 Basically unable to effectively conduct counter attacks under the barrels of the UA advanced long range artillery systems aided by state of the art counter fire systems and very effective drone munitions of the UA and of course one has to take into consideration their lack of credible resources and as we keep seeing, a lack of tactical skills and good leadership .

Fools talk. Russia did not lose anything since it wasn't theirs in the first place. The real loss is both sides losing lives and materials by allowing themselves to be played by the west. If you can't grow your economy when you have full manpower, there is no way this can be done with less people and materials. You are gonna be consumed by migrants benefiting the spaces you guys left behind.

They didn't loose those territories, simply because they were not under Russian control. Most of Kherson region (oblast) is under Russia control. Kharkiv and Kiev have not been yet under Russian control. Russia will take them later. Russia will never loose any territories anymore. You'll see. Russia accumulates forces and equipment for offensive. Since they withdrew from Kherson, they took many other territories like Bakhmut, Soledar - pretty big cities, but Ukraine didn't take anything except couple tiny totally destroyed unpopulated settlements with population less than 500

Even NYT noticed in desperation: "Some American officials say the fight in Bakhmut has become something of an obsession for Mr. Zelensky and his military leaders." Bakhmut was a slaughter which was entirely Zelenskyy folly as Stalingrad was entirely Hitler's folly. Zelenskyy just for media hype wasted on average 500 troops daily (total tally was at least 51 000 KIA) in Bakhmut meat grinder even when all escape routes came under Russian fire control and this debacle turned into a sheer slaughter of Ukrainian troops. But obsessed with Bakhmut Zelenskyy didn't stop even at that. Since May 20 when Russians took Bakhmut General Syrsky (Zelenskyy minion) launched wave after wave of suicidal counterattacks failing to retake a single village near Bakhmut (parts of villages Andriivka and Kleshiivka are still controlled by Russians and it's driving Zelenskyy nuts) while wasting thousands upon thousands of hapless Ukrainian conscripts. This ongoing obsessive lunacy that makes zero military sense is simply astounding.
