I am indeed very proud of a lady who did something no one would have thought was possible. But, there is one fact about this story which is misleading. It is world's oldest currently operating university but not the oldest university in the old. That tile belongs to Nalanda university which was established in 5th century, more than 400 years before this. Unfortunately it was closed in 13th century due to change in dynasties.
@istiyakshaikh64712 жыл бұрын
Well Nalanda was more like Budhha Vihar, It used to be considered as NALANDA MAHAVIHARA, thats why majority of its alumni was either Buddhist or Hindu, if we consider Nalanda as University then Taxila (Takshshila) would number one. At that time main centre of Knowledge in India was Temple and for Buddhist it was Vihar. On the other hand Al-Karaouine University used to Provide Certified Degree. People form different background and religion was its students at that time. E.g. Moses ben Maimon (Maimonides). Even the "UNESCO & Guiness World Record" consider Al-Karaouine as "oldest higher-learning institution, oldest university",

I wonder how the great Fatima Al-Fihri would respond to the destructive ideology called feminism! Yes she was Educated in the Scholastic sciences of Islam which was not rare during her era. The fact is she was very pious and a scholar in her own right upholding the Sharia at every level! Every year hundreds of thousands of women graduate as scholars in the Muslim world especially so in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and even the UK. The problem is the lack of interest on the part of some men and women who want to abandon Islamic scholarship and focus only on western education!! The great Imams of before known for science and mathematics first mastered the Islamic sciences which gave them a firm foundation to pursue other subjects! Women should not look st This Sheikha and then use it to promote exclusive secular learning because the subjects like Maths and the like that are considered secular were deemed as beneficial Islamic related subjects and not secular. Islamic Scholarship is one feild a woman can be truly equal to her male counterparts, after all a man is not equal to a woman when it comes to nursing and nurturing children cos she is way above him in this and neither is a woman on the same level as her male counterparts when it comes to Jihad and war and science has proven this beyond doubt, though it is true that there are exceptions and many Muslim women were trained by their fathers with weapons and horse riding and especially archery however it wasn't the norm and neither is it expected of Muslim women to entertain such danger. Yes I hope she inspires our young sisters to delve deep into the Islamic sciences and seek Allah's pleasure therein. The Muslims throughout history haven't had a feminist revolution because Muslim women have always had a soul and were always allowed to inherit and own and possess her own money having many rights given alongside. And so to see some Muslim women be deceived by feminism is very upsetting because feminism destroyed the family in the west and continues to do so. I think this Great scholar would of passed a fatwa on such an ideology and Yes its women like this that the Muslim world needs today! Imagine what sort of society it would be in the middle east after 40 years of Muslims being raised and educated by such pious women??? Even the leaders would appear saintly as compared to the Muslim leaders of today! And do you not think that the non Muslim elite the Masonic shadow leaders know this very fact? And we wonder at their aggressive onslaught against the Hijab and Muslim women !! Food for thought people!

The Westerners do not accept this truth, do you know why? because for some historians the concept of university is considered to be purely Euro-Christian. if it was a Christian woman who had created this university that would not pose a problem.

.... The name "University" was coined out from Bologna University itself. Do you know the building this video is taking about was built as a mosque and later converted to teaching Islamic literature? It was turned to a university in 1960s and in fact, began enrolling women in 1940. Go research for yourself!

Most educated Indians don't stay in india, the take flight real quick, India was and still is a slaughter house for its western masters. The Indian education system does not encourage a sustainable living... The best grads in india leave India!!!

World 1st and the oldest university is one and the only Taxila University which was founded by Chandragupta Maurya in 5th BCE. Stop spreading false information
