@@TheTrueOnyxRose here is the problem. Arab countries like Jordan,Egypt, Tunisia, Morroco, UAE are heavily dependent on tourism for their economic survival. That monent they try enforcing such draconian rule on any tourists because of their nationality, their economy will collapse as it will result in total erasure of tourism industry since nobody will go in a country as tourists where tourists are forced to wear how the government tells them to do. So you can try.

As it stands, female tourists are expected to wear a headscarf before entering a Muslim place of reverence, outsider or not. They did it out of respect and no one complained. Who cares if these countries lose a few French tourists? They can be replaced by those from other countries. Try not to assume France holds up the lion’s share of global tourism and therefore has the greatest sway. Nor is it an empire anymore. There are more countries on the planet besides them. They’ll absolutely survive without France.

@@TheTrueOnyxRose "female tourists are expected to wear a headscarf before entering a muslim place of reverence" The problem with this statement of yours is that average non muslim female tourist in the middle east do not visit there to be inside any mosque, but rather to visit historical sites like Pyramids of Egypt ,Petra in Jordan or even other places such as beaches or nightclubs in dubai. So it doesn't matter whether a female tourist has to wear hijab or not in order to enter a mosque, ultimately average female tourists never gets to wear hijab as they rarely visit any mosque but rather visits popular non religious sites like i mentioned earlier. Now coming to France, French Tourism industry depends not upon muslim tourists from the Middle East but upon non muslim tourists from other western nations and rich east asian nations. Unlike middle east where places such as Egypt,Jordan majority of the tourists are westerners like in Egypt where 1/3 of all tourists are from Russia and Ukraine. So today even if muslim tourists start boycotting France, French tourism won't be impacted that much. But tomorrow if there is discrimination against French tourists in middle east, no western tourists will visit the middle east anymore as no westerner will ever choose muslims over French. You can already see what happens if western tourists stop visiting middle eastern countries from the Egyptian experience where due to covid 19 and subsequent Russo Ukrainian war, tourists from Europe visit Egypt almost halved causing havoc in Egyptian economy and inflation rate of upto 30%. Now as of France of not being an empire anymore, so what? There isn't a muslim empire either. There is no muslim country where jizya tax upon non muslims are implemented anymore. So while you do not have a caliphate like you did in the past, you shouldn't mock others for not being an empire either.
