In this video I talk a little about the History of the two trucks that carry the brunt of the building materials to the top of the mountain and the Disaster that totaled the first.

Alan we were cut from the same cloth. People think I'm strange I build weird stuff I save everything. I also have many crazy stories to tell. By all rights I should have died long ago. But still kicking by the grace of God. Kinda. Bad health. But you and some other youtubers are inspiring me to pull myself together. And start building crazy stuff again and possibly film in for the world to see. So I thank you for telling your stories. And that mountain "rocks" lol. My swamp is way different.

I can see that it's a constant battle between you and the mountain, the mountain seems rather unforgiving, and so does the wind. I know that you said you have not had much luck with windmills. Years ago I remember seeing a merry-go-round setup about 20" in diameter using 55 gallon drums cut in half that might workout good there, you could rig up some sort of a centrifugal brake in case it got out of control.

What an amazing adventure! I too, work alone. I have never had any luck with helpers. I have a mental image of how everything goes together. My help will have their own image and likely won't be compatible. A good chance someone will end up in the emergency room. I find that the two greatest hazards in my life are helpers and gravity! I'm looking forward to more videos.
@mtnfortresslabs2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are right. I actually found it took more time to do something with help than if I did it myself. Very hard to find someone who can work without constant supervision. Thank you!

So glad you made it out of the truck safely ! Please attach some, let's say transport-cage, to the front of your actual vehicle. This will ensure the weight is helping you to stay on the trial. And think about smaller loads, just every time you drive to the top pick something up with you. Keep going, I want to see more!

Yes, after that I worked out a very good way to keep the concrete forward. That is done by putting a small stack of empty pallets in the back of the bed and using ratchet straps to the frame to hold everything in place. It works great.. Thanks!

Sorry about losing your grandma. Be safe, stay healthy, keep posting these videos. Seems like building a flat-bed would make loading/unloading easier. With tie-downs and receivers to custom restrain all types of loads. Plus a small fork lift attachment on the 331. 👍

GOD is with you Wizard, everywhere you go. Our 'Guardian Angels' are our overseers watching ahead of us removing any obstructions that may be in our pathway. When I drive away on a long trip and my family is with me I always pray for protection and safe journey to my destination and for my return home. I call upon our Creator Source (GOD) to allow my guardian angels to drive my car (spiritually), watch over us, keep us safe, and return us home safely and I then able to relax and enjoy the journey otherwise I would be a nervous wreck. So keep safe Wizard we enjoy your journey and your projects.

I do have one question, would you be willing to sell one of your old chevy pickup trucks? They are super hard to come by these days and I want to purchase one so I can cut firewood and not worry about a scratch or a ding. If you don't, I understand.
