Truck Life - Typical Day at Bulgarian Border, 24hours of Delay, and Casual 10km Walk in Sofia.

After waiting around 7/8 hours, we are finally crossing border, then going straight to Sofia, and we have to wait unexpectedly 24 hours, so I'm taking taxi and going to some city mall and then walking for ages.

Yes I know this company they are driving to I think almost all countries, but sometimes they are just giving trailers and the truck is from different country, and I want to drive just the Turkey just to Turkey deep parts of Turkey. Right now I'm not so interested in other countries

Bulgaria and good roads are not two things that can fit in the same place :D even if your car has some good suspension you'll feel the bulgarian road quality :) it's unforgiving. There are very few roads that are actually good :/

@@DaniTravelson they do renovate them, but usually with cheap materials, so new roads are also not good MOST of the time

@LacaTomi max 10h is driving time, and for each day is 15h of working time, which includes 10h of driving time. But when working time will drop under 10h then driving time and working time are going down simultaneously. I can drive one hour, and then I will have 9h of driving time and 14h of working time, which includes this 9h of driving time

1:35: That's something I never had to deal with driving in the US and Canada, no vignettes, no carnets de passage, none of that cr@p you guys in Europe have to deal with. Also, no language barriers either; even when I crossed into Canada at a border crossing into the French-speaking province of Quebec, Customs Canada always had Anglophones working (at Quebec crossings, they all needed to be bilingual).

Yes that's really annoying, each country has it's own system. There are few companies making box devices for few countries or just one. Some countries has just gates to pay and nothing else, it's just madness
