Rah!! Bruddah!! Don't let whoever told you about WordPress fool you. Yes there are alternatives, and great ones too but WordPress is far from dead. And this is coming from an ex wordpress developer. And like how you understand SEO, you obviously understand your market and the various audiences and segments and how to engage, target/retarget them. For what your doing i would use WordPress as a blog your content, success stories, KZbin etc, but have your cooperate level pages on a JamStack setup with your latest greatest offerings. (Services) Just my two cents as not everything new is always good. ✌🏾

@@rickysykes- ideally static rendered pages perform better than dynamically rendered pages. So if you have pages that are not constantly updating then either cache them or make them static HTML pages. WordPress has cache plugins and integrates well with cache services. Ideally in @ashvilles case also if they have an existing site and performs well in SEO and ranks well based on his industries specific keywords then it's also important that those links/URLs that appear in search results remain the same for this new site. Or the bot who is coming back to rank your site will be pissed it can't find it anymore and eventually your site will lose its ranking.

I'd disagree with the WordPress being old hat, it is still the market leader and I think you'll lose so much flexibility moving away from it, it can still be used to make a static website for speed etc, it could do with a revamp visually I agree but there are so many people who make pretty websites that don't work well be very careful letting it out of your control.

Drain your water tank, get up top, lift the float and turn the water on. If water starts filling again you know you have a leak. shine a strong light down and you might be able to see it and have your parts ready. I also sometimes diagnose stuff with a $50 inspection camera that beams real time video back to your phone, you can lower it on a string etc
