Bardstown KY is a beautiful area! I love the camaro! You're close to Lingenfelter, they're just north of you in Indiana. I just had my 99 Camaro SS built by them. They have the car featured on their channel if you search Lingenfelter LS7 Built 4th Gen, their video and my videos will also pop up. My next project is to take the original LS1 with 33k miles and drop it in my old 87 Nissan 300zx. I am also planning to send my Dad's 1994 Firehawk to Lingenfelter to be built. All Lingenfelter builds come with a COA and a 3 year..30k mile warranty. I had this done because I always wanted to buy a 4th gen ZL-1, but life happens and I wasn't able to buy one, so instead I planned to have the car built in Indiana one day! Back in the day when I bought my Camaro brand new, I had a buddy with a 94 Z-28 who had sent the car to Lingenfelter to install their 383 package, which was rated at 450hp N/A. They told me they no longer do the 383's on the LT-1's, but they could do an LS7 for my dad's car, or a 454 LSX. I prefer N/A cars, i'm not in to turbos or superchargers. If I added anything more to my camaro it would be Nitrous, but the car already flies with 567 to the wheels, on 93 pump gas and street tires. Shawn Foy with Lingenfelter was inspired by my build and they were all happy to work on a 4th Gen again! Shawn has a 94 Z-28 and wants to take it out of storage to have it built up, he told me he would also do a nitrous build over turbos and blowers. Lingenfelter will build anything you want, you can also have them send you a motor in a crate. On a race build you would have head studs over GM bolts, with those builds it's expected that engines would be dropped often to be refreshed all the time.

Def know the feeling of a move like that. Not sure if it was around the same time or not, but i moved back to the east coast from utah last year myself and actually went right by ky and almost through louisville. Glad you made it safe, and hell yea on those skills rolling the window down like you did haha. Also, when you fired the uglystepchild up to pull it off it sounded so similar to my bike before i had it retuned that was so cool!

The driver side fender on the Uhaul trailers have little bunjies on the front and back to allow for door opening. You pull those bunjies off and the fender tips over to the left.

For future reference that driver side u-haul trailer fender folds down to allow opening the vehicle door. There is a rubber tie on the front and back that allows it to fold outward once unhooked.

Lived here my whole life Ky is a great place to live. I promise y’all will love it. I hope I get to see you run some time. Your pretty close to clay city dragway I’m like 2 hr from there I run there once a month. I run a little stick Honda it’s like a 8.90 in the eighth on motor only. I’ll be putting Nos on it soon though. I have a lot of projects too that are not finished I work 6 days a week and don’t have the kick n the rear I need when I get home to go work on them. All good things will come in time though. We’re glad to have some more good drivers here and welcome to being a hillbilly lol

Hey I have a house in Bardstown, Ky. Plenty of race tracks to run your car at but the closest and best is The Ohio Valley Dragway. Watch in Louisville because they have unmarked cop cars and trucks sitting on side of the road and in other places clocking ya. They’ll look like broke down vehicles with dark tinted windows. Won’t know their cop vehicles til the blue lights come on

I'm sure it doesn't help now but don't the U-Haul trailer fenders swing out and down which to give some extra room for doors to open on lower cars. Unless the car/door is too low the door then hits the tires. Any way good luck at the new job!!!
