I'd do 6 lights only smaller that way, it doesn't rub on the fender and you have the original look. It looks better. I'm sorry to hear they messed up on the hood.

I agree to stick with the original 6 lights, but smaller to allow for the trimming to eliminate the rubbing. Watermelon lights that could possibly flash a different color with turn signals???

In things like this where you have a number items in a line whether it be lights, windows, trees etc. it's always considered that an odd number is more pleasing to the eye than a even. So I would chose five over four.

I agree with other comments about engraving "Beyond Dirt" on the outside edges of each one will look cool. I don't know about watermelon lights I've never seen them, probably because they were created after I had to retire due to my health. If you want the same size round ones then go with 5, personally I would go with 6 slightly smaller ones so the light bars won't scrape the fenders. However, if you like the watermelon lights then go for it.

Yeah you sorta run into issues when ordering parts for a certain year and the manufactures have a tendency to mess up the part numbers But looking forward to seeing you back on the road again Please shoot a video of your test runs. This is probably old history, but if you still have any gastric problems you may want to ask for an EKG and also cardiosonigram. Last week I had a mild heart attack and needed two stents which I got immediately. My stomach problem is already much less, so that is why I thought of you. Some blood vessels that run to the heart also run to the stomach area, which is why poor blood flow to the heart can also impact the stomach area and cause pain. The thing about the hood is not only does it matter about the year its also if it is curved at the top or flat and length I had a hell of a time trying to find a used hood for my T800 so I just decided to try my hand at bodywork and to my surprise it turned out pretty good, anyways glad to see your getting it back together. 👍👍👍

5 lights definitely watermelon, they are so much brighter than the flat lights and I would stick with just amber instead of the dual revolution. The problem with the dual color lights is most states the DOT will harass you if you run a different color while on the roads.

My daughters grooming van got hit the same time as your truck accident.Shes still waiting to get it back.She had some injuries.Dash cam showed other driver ran stop sign.Lost wages could be a problem from not having the van.. She has a lawyer handling it now. Repairs and replacement of parts is running over the estimate with medical bills. Good Luck to you getting it on the road. Supply chain sucks.

I’d go with the 4 watermelon lights that’s change from amber to any color you choose and have beyond dirt engraved with a light to light it up, I would change all your amber lights to matching watermelon lights that change, I’d even do a custom bumper as well, you could even have someone draw you up a design of what it would like as well and do few different designs and have vote of which one to go with.

If you’re going to change the breather lights to watermelon on the breather, do you plan to change the lights on the dump bed as well? I think keeping the lights pretty similar in style would look better.. and keep the led color similar.. more lights the better! Get that old girl lite up! If the budget allows, let’s get a ton more lights installed on that truck to really lite up during the night and early mornings, lol.

Check out rlk customs for their Mellon brackets that tuck in tight to the hood below/behind the elephant ear. They also make one that puts a Mellon behind the cleaner between the straps. The front brackets are for w9’s so I had to slightly modify the hood latch bracket to clear on the T800’s.
