The farmers often buy old bodies from trucks and convert them into trailers. In the olden days we use the wheel driving and put it to the power output on the tracror. Then you could go to 30km/h with the tractor. Put it in neutral activate the power output then let the trailer push the tractor to 70.... very illegal.

Wow seeing roads being paved . We never see that here in the US anymore . Must be nice 🤣😂
@joniviitasaari23392 ай бұрын
Most of the main modern highways get grooves filled/re-paved every 2 years or so and completely dug up and remade every decade or so depending on condition/layers and traffic. That said the whole road network is pretty slim if you look at it on a map (if you look at railway map its almost a bad joke how barebone it is) which is split mostly bethween modern properly kept roads bethween larger cities(50-70mph), old highways that existed for a long time before the modern ones(30-60mph), townroads(30mph) as far as 100%paved roads go. After that most bigger village roads are generally kept in good enough condition to be safe and there is laws to enforce them as city or private owned roads are actually resposible for possible damages even to ridiculous decrees like potholes breaking tires/axels or lowered cars crashing or getting stuck on speedbumps :D. Just as last clarification: the road system is upkept mostly by the vehicle taxation(which isnt cheap or only used for that purpose, eventho it originally was made for the purpose of paying for the development and safety of roads(in the old days people just used to blast full throttle everywhere on dirt roads(not sober))) so government/city roads have to be in a condition where no one can complain about it.
@Sincabello2 ай бұрын
Our roads also get into bad condition pretty quickly as well. One reason being that the temperature changes are so insane, you might have -30 one day and then have it all melt just to freeze again. It really fucks the road up.

Interesting hitchup - I think it would be a great way to hook units together for heavy towing where they do more than one truck on a huge load !
@stuntvist2 ай бұрын
You can get bumpers that hitch up to the same spots but are just a big fat hunk of steel with a bolt in the middle so you can hook it up as a pusher behind a giant trailer or tow it even easier if you're losing grip on a muddy road or something. Common setup for the guys that cause entire roads to shut down for hours lol.

This is funny! Scania had V8 with 350 hp. I remember in the late 80´s when volvo trucks was introduced to the U.S . The U.S.drivers were complaining of the silence and the lack of vibrations. My father had a test truck with only 3 gears forward. 3 gears went into 6 and the split went into 12. All in one stic. And also the old oil hydraulic lift of the last axle turned into air lift. So with full load he could lift the rear axel to fully height with both systems. Early 90´s trucks where online! Thats when we got 700 hp and torque as hell.
