I have loaded out of the salt mines in Lyons, Ks, for many years. Dry van, hoppers, flat bed. Always came out of their overweight .it's just how it is out of there.

Colorado to Illinois with that massive windmill base is crazy lol, I've never had the luck of running into one of those guys in a truck stop, much less seeing them fuel at the island with the windmill attached. Thanks for that knowledge Bandit, had no idea those things could fit through the fuel islands. Always loved seeing those big boys on my trips, have a few videos of them I'd share with my family and friends. Lol sorry about the shipper sneaking on extra weight on your truck mate, but yeah that's why we keep the tractor light on fuel until we're loaded. Get'er done!

Well that was a good trip pretty nice people at each one that is the kind of places that you like to go! Over load is what they do I guess you can sure tell when they over loaded you by the way it pulls when you start out be you are careful so you don't get stopped! What I like to see is when you stop some where and there is something interesting you go right up to them and talk to the people that is what I like about you! Have you thought about getting Right Weigh for your trailer air bags? It will tell you how much weight is on the trailer axles. If you have a tractor weigh gauge you will know what you weigh before you leave the shipper. I think the Right Weigh cost about $500 or so

The did make legs or pieces for the legs for those wind mills at Steel of Wv in Huntington Wv and they sent those parts out to a michine shop close to my house in Salt Rock Wv for a coating or galvanizing on those parts. Haven't seen many of the trucks lately they may have stopped now. Time for the weekend Bandit enjoy it I've laid around here all week I stretched that birthday out all week
