I relate the excitement for snowstorms with our childhood and days off from school. For a longtime I would feel that excitement until the last 5 or so years, when I learned about outdoor animals i.e. stray cat colonies, etc. I pray for them and the harsh weather situations.

Sis, you are so hard on yourself. You work hard. It’s ok to buy a few things for yourself. You bought some BEAUTIFUL pieces!! You’ll find a place for them. Also, the Bible scrapbooking was so interesting!! I might have to look into that. Regarding the potential storm excitement, perhaps it’s just the unknown. That alone will sometimes garner excitement. Being a truck driver is not a typically conventional job. I’d say it’s pretty adventurous! 😊

I feel subconscious excitement with natural disaster type storms, too-- whenever huge hail, tornadoes, snowpocalypses are being predicted, and I observe other people having the same thing. I think it's a human thing to be fascinated by destruction-- it's why we're so destructive and blow things up and make wars, etc. On a nicer note, I love your scrapbook. Pro tip, when you're not working on it, store it under heavy other books and the weight will flatten and smooth the sheets from being wrinkly.
