Does prime micro manage lease drivers all the time. Or do they leave you alone and let you do your job.

@@robertclark7646 No they do not micro-manage here, I rarely talk to my FM. I just do my job. If roads are unsafe I let them know and give them an updated eta. The response I get is okay thank you stay safe!

That passenger sidebox is a gamechanger. I have tools on the drivers side and just fluids on the right. If you're ordering a truck try to get a side door to the sleeper too, it makes loading groceries and luggage so much smoother

When I was w/ TMC, we were allowed to go over by 30 mins and not hear from anyone (FM/Safety/Logs)...but if you went over by 31mins..you were going to be on a call w them call. So I would stretch it to 30 min everytime I could, if it made sense from a time/clock mgmt for (that it would benefit me greatly the next day, by going over the current day) me to go over (ie make it to the shipper/rec so I wouldn't have to start my clock until AFTER I was loaded/unloaded the following day).

What's up, Rex! As always, an excellent video! Hey, I just started doing this and thought I would share it with you and others. I bought a 2.5 gal oil drain pan from Walmart (also have 5 gal) and used that to save on time, money and mess. I keep running out of pump kit, which then leads me to running out of spill pads. Either drain oil pan fits under pump and inside the box with door closed. So far, no tank wash has complained about dumping it and washing it out. When Im done with my drain pan, I tied it to my heat line rack where it stays outside at all times. I figure I pass along this idea bc it might save you some trouble as well. just a suggestion why don't you have a swifter wet jet might save on the paper towel usage most of those wet jet pads are washable .

Friendly bit of advise. Cover the end of the hopper electrical cord since its unused. Can't imagine the amount of grime that's making its way in there. Great content btw!

Maybe invest in a little aluminium pipe wrench. Not steal, there to heavy. Available at any Home Depot or Plumbers supply. A small selection of nipples (small pipe) might help.

Prime charges lease drivers like $13 per week to use that option free for company drivers

I’d never use them for phone service lol, T-Mobile customer service is the worst but the 5G gateway box works for me.

I am so glad I retired from trucking before the e logs went all out. Had issues with them during my brief stint at Werner hauling beer for the dedicated Budweiser out of Columbus OH. I’d be driving a vintage cab over using paper.

The logs department won’t say a word, in fact, if you didn’t look on your app you’d think you got away with it. You’ll just see 1 point on your logs on the Prime app though. Once you hit a certain amount of points though, they’ll be calling you in for some logbook training.
