@Greg-bu7mi sweet. I saw something called a hitch slider to prevent damage to the hitch. @@rabayl01 in most normal light load conditions these transmissions would run cooler without the "cooler." It helps bring the transmission up to operating temps much faster and there are some slight efficiency increases with the warmer temps. Ive ran an aftermarket trans cooler with a fan on the 10r80s. In cool weather it can be hard go get them over 140 with the trans cooler fan off.

@@rabayl01 a lower temp thermostat can help some if your fan settings are changed but dont expect a big difference. We used Derale coolers with fans on two different trucks. Have you guys ever thought about towing while off road? I say this only because when I work for pulling cable or on drill rigs a lot of times all these 3/4 ton or 1 ton trucks were always strapped to a six to 8,000 lb trailer dragging through the mud up through gravel fire trails things like that it seems like that would be a perfect fit for a tremor or a power wagon or just in general. Throwing some weight behind a truck and trying to drag it through something difficult really shows you to capability and the downfalls. For the longest time I had a 97 F350 manual four-wheel drive and never ever thought about traction control or stability or any of that stuff That's what I use to hold the reels. After switching companies years later I had to drag utility trailers around at a steel plant being built in Arkansas. It seem no matter how long I held the traction control or whatever I did I could never get the power I needed to pull those trailers The truck kept cutting power essentially leaving me almost stranded.

Awesome review as always and my opinion is the HD off road trucks are interesting. The XL Off-road package is a mini tremor/work package. Ford is doing cool things but prices are climbing with more features getting added. Just stop adding to it and give it some time to soak with the population maybe the price can sit still for a little and they can work on some R&D in the background. They already have a load of options above the rest of the trucks. It would seem that several companies are looking at rolling things more into option packages and reducing engine options while ford is still building a all you can afford buffet.

Just got a 2024 Termor Diesel. After owning a 2007 6.0L Power stroke... I swore, Never again a Ford. I needed a 3/4 ton platform again after going back to a 5.7 Tundra for 4 years and I drove the Doge, I drove the Chevy... I love the chevy ZR2 but I HATE WITH A PASSION the seat, specifically the bottom portion of the seat. The dodge.... Owned one and it was more of a PITA than the 6.0L power stroke and the many repairs I did personally to the 6 Blow. I considered gas and love the 7.3 but man... that little amount of sealing surface for the head gasket was the nail in the coffin. If I'm gonna have issue, and spend the money... I would rather it be a diesel. This new Ford with the messy engine bay, I would never want to fix anything But, That 6.7 is one of the most Proven Power plants out there for a diesel. 3 Generations of 6.7 platform and improvements... Yes the 6.7 is a beast, its just everything else Dodge that kills it for me and the underpinnings of a F250 really haven't changed all that much, and I know whats gonna be a problem and when. That a HUGE + in just knowing what gonna be a problem and when.

Ford nailed it with this truck…Ram missed the mark by trying to make a super off-roader out of a vehicle that is impossible to make an amazing off roader due to its massive size…then they undercut the main reason anyone would buy a truck that large in the first place, towing and payload(and didn’t offer it with a Cummins)…it just doesn’t make sense to try to make a Jeep or midsize truck out of an HD size truck…towing in the 18-22k range is perfect for about anyone who isn’t hauling super heavy daily, and the payload around 3k lbs is also more than enough for 99% of users…and the off-road abilities make it versatile as a hunting or outdoorsman’s truck or outdoorsy work truck. Only issue is they cost around 80-90k for even a lower to mid trim version of that truck with a diesel engine

Before that I had an f150 EcoBoost with so many issues, timing chain, front end, exhaust manifold turbo leaks under 100k miles. I had an 1994 and 2002 ram 2500 with the cummins no one single issue with those the 94 had 230k and the 2002 had 286k. I now drive a 2010 ram 1500 232k and no issues. Everyone here in hawaii drives rams or toyota those fords fall apart way to fast and those recalls everyday ford has a new one.

Is fit on 7 foot garage height? And the regular f250 2023 is it fit on 7 foot garage door?❤

Even the regular F250 is a tight squeeze (7 ft garage door actually has a useful opening around 78" depending on how your door is mounted), and this one has bigger wheels/tires. Also, if that garage is 20 ft long (as most 7 ft garages are), it won't fit lengthwise.

Everything a power wagon should be and wishes I was. Including optional diesel. Typical dodge, have the Cummins motor, only good thing about a ram, and didn’t even offer it in the power wagon. Not to mention less payload than a ridgeline, and smaller tires than a Tacoma

Love the truck but Tremor package isn't even in the same ballpark as the Power Wagon.(Winch, front locker, sway bar disconnect, under body protection)
@ALMX5DP
@ALMX5DP Жыл бұрын
Seems pretty similar to me. I think you can spec out a 12k Warn winch on the Ford build site, a front limited slip isnt quite a locker but close when combined with the electronic systems and it also has some underbody protection).

There is literally nothing the power wagon can do that the tremor cannot. The only thing the super duty doesn't have is the disconnecting sway bar, but I counter that with taller tires, deeper gears, and the diesel option.

Trucks are have turned into toys and everyday commuting vehicles. Who in there right mind is going to take a big $60,000+ truck through the woods chancing destroying it. Its still a beautiful truck but There seems to be alot of people out there who have alot of disposable income to play with.

Nice truck, but the Ram HD competes in this segment and does it much better. The reason for the heavy duty tow hooks is so when you bury this truck, a Power Wagon can rescue you. The PW definitely has a much lower towing capacity at 10,000 lbs, but I can attest to the fact that it can haul that 10,000 lbs to locations that the Tremor could never even get to, even unladen. The Tremor is a great truck, just understand it’s limitations.
@shawnriddle3018

Tremor does not compete with the power wagon. Power Wagon is in a class of it's own. Ram Rebel H.D. is more class correct.
@AK_Ray

You're right but not in the way you think, tremor outdoes the power wagon in every aspect. More power, more torque, more ground clearance, better tech, better trim availability, diesel option.
@rich7447
@rich7447 Жыл бұрын
@@AK_Ray Power Wagon is designed for crawling trails. Having an 1,100 lb diesel in the front isn't the best for that. Tremor is the truck to get you to a cabin on washed out tracks. They aren't really competitors. Just like the TRX and Raptor don't compete against PW or Tremor.

Wow this is very concerning to offer an offroad truck with no skid plates. I couldn't make of what that aluminum box was either, but also agree it hangs down very low and looks very easy to punch a whole in. I would stay away from this pavement princess.
