I'll say one thing about the Cadillac, it has one of the most distinctive styling in the car industry - especially its lighting (I prefer the amber turn signals). Nothing else on the road looks like it. Even without the badging you can tell its a Cadillac. Anyway, it would appear that you have a very long torso, so that contributes to your headroom even more than total height. Still, that body type makes for a better test since it goes down from there. In addition, the Cadillac there is a long wheelbase version of that vehicle. Jeep/RAM is probably the ONLY company (beyond premium sedans) that take into account the comfort and quality of its rear seat passengers. Outside of Jeep, who would bother with stitched armrests in the rear? In every other car company, regardless of type, the rear compartment is always the equivalent to second-class. For example, nobody else builds a car with power, massaging, or even ventilated rear seats. Too bad you didn't mention anything about the sound system or controls, but I guess we have to tune in to DD if we want all the quirks and features of the automobiles.

@@johnadkins3466 That's something that distinguished Stellantis product above all other carmakers. When you sit in the rear seats its not like you're sitting in steerage. There's just as much attention to detail and comfort as they put into the first row. Because you sit higher, you don't feel like a second class citizen. The only thing missing is of course would be the ability to adjust the height, so even your Sumo brothers can be comfortable. One of the few justifiable reasons to own these types of vehicles.

I’ve had an escalade and now a new wagoneer. I absolutely love the look of escalade, however, Wagoneer hits on practicality. Simple things; hitting the cooling/heat. Wagoneer is very simple when it comes to climate control. Which is positioned under the screen and is more manual. Not sure about the new Escalades you used to have to slide. Which was totally an annoyance and keeps your left hand further away from the steering column. Always had electricity problems with Escalades and the screens on Escalades always have faulty issues…hoping wagoneer doesn’t have the same issues. The 2022 Wagoneer, has amazing features. Especially with passenger control. The real version of navigator. In the wagoneer…The sensors will also inform you if have something in the rear/back. It’s a nice friendly reminder, for busy people. @@Enchanted3DPrints whether there is power going to the front or not, the front driveshaft and both front axle shafts are still turning. The theory that you save fuel by being in rwd with a system like this has been disproven over and over. If one could disconnect the front hubs and thus stop any movement and load in the front axles and driveshaft, only then one might gain some fuel economy. I also speak from personal experience. My Jeep had a tcase with permanent awd. Once I replaced it with one which offers rwd mode as well, my fuel economy stayed exactly the same. What you gain in rwd mode only is some maneuverability. That’s it.

@@thebulgarianguy8461 I had a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee with full time 4WD, picked up a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with selec-trac that gave me 2WD...so, like many I thought hmm, I have a 2WD mode in this Jeep It'll get better fuel economy than my previous full time 4x4 equipped Grand Cherokee...nope, same fuel economy...because yes, even in 2WD all the shafts are still spinning as there isn't a front axle disconnect, or manually locking hubs....even with a front axle disconnect you still have the axle shafts spinning, it just disconnects from the front driveshaft that goes to the transfer case, so you are still spinning the front axle shafts, and differential gears which is where most of your drag is coming from.

Will you test drive again with the ' super cruise ' in light and heavy snowing days ? All KZbinrs test drove those self drive systems in sunny dry days .

We get these vehicles for only a week - so if test in whatever mother nature gives us at that time.

Cadillac has better looking exterior but Grand Wagoneer has better interiors. Except for the curved screen on the Escalade that's more sexy.

The prices on vehicles as tested they’re not matching lol. Other than that I enjoy watching your videos very much

When you're getting to that price point, another $10,000 and drop the 6.6 duramax in the Escalade

That Cadillac will be dirt cheap at around 120k miles, right before the oil pump belt is about to fail and the transmission will have to be removed to replace it.

(1) Isn't the scheduled replacement around $140K? (2) I don't think a one-time $2K job will have a huge influence on the value of a $120K vehicle.

Not a fan of Cadillac’s small headlights and I question the long-term reliability of the Jeep.

The 6.4 and 8HP have been around since 2011 with little to no issues. The thing does have a ton electronics though, which with any vehicle can pose long term concerns.
