I had trail grapplers on my 04 dmax and were honestly the best tires I’ve ever ran. Relatively quiet and lasted many miles

when it comes to Nitto's this is what I use.. the 420's go on all my daily's cuz they mostly see just highways..as far as my weekend having fun trucks go the terra grapplers but I switched to Nitto Trail grapplers after they were recommended to me after I complained about the road noise from the M/T's and man ther is hardly any noticeable noise inside with windows up and a/c on i don't hear any tire noise and the offroad performance is so good

Awesome build man it and the lb7 build are my two dream trucks. I like the trail grapplers and ridge grapplers for a daily if just a drive on week ends vehicle I love the mud grapplers. Don't forget to remove & replace the rear leaf spring packs on both rear driver side & rear passenger side of this truck! That's 1 thing that i thought i'd never have to replace on mine honestly but the bushings on both ends gave out almost all simultaneously .....Noticed this 2/3 weeks ago after getting a really hard shimmy/shake of the truck and rear end of the truck when i was doing a 55-100 pull that was at an "offroad site" of course lol & on top of both of them flattening out to the point of them looking like their almost drooping! they were visually just fine and truck rode great prior to that pull i did and had drove fine afterwards until i pulled them and replaced the leafs with new bushings as well... fixed my shimmy/shake i'd get when i went passed 60%-65% throttle & above........ My wife, our kids & I just got done moving into a different home and during the past 3 weeks of moving us from 1 home to the one we're in now the bed of my truck had been absolutely SLAM PACKED, every inch of the bed length, width and over 2 foot above the cab were utilized and i guess my leaf springs were that toasted that the weight from all of that moving just did em in! lol other than that i've never hauled anything with it or really loaded the bed full like that ever since i replaced the suspension, steering parts, shocks, trans, driveshafts all sorts of parts with new everything and lifted it and started a complete restoration/upgrade for the truck. took it to a shop for the trans and new tires and a new trans cooler that was "included in the price of the built trans w/ billet torque converter"......... the "prize" that comes with the paid for thing is always not worth it lol....... china made factory knockoff trans cooler that will fail every time its only a matter of time....... never again. Ill stick to myself and a select few well knock professional shops to lay their skilled hands on my truck from that "shop" experience & on lol

I think a cool build idea would be a “budget build street truck” a lot of people are getting into hp but don’t wanna spend $50,000 on built everything. Maybe try an LML converter, shift kit, 369 and some factory body injectors with a set of nozzles..? Something the average joe could build themselves

If you crank the torsion bars up is picks up the front end which sucks the front tires in a little bit instead of having to buy spacers. Yes it makes it ride a little more rough but it's the cheapest option

Looken good, im so glad your starting you run more robust tire brands, Nitto is a sister company to Toyo so your in good hands. Shout out to XDP, they make and sell great replacement parts along with aftermarket parts and there customer service is top notch if you give them a call, I use there 200amp alternator on my LBZ and have had zero issues the past 50K miles. Check out Chassis Unlimited for off-road bumpers, they make sexy bumpers that fit really well and flow with the body lines, there lead times are a little long but waiting 10 weeks was worth it in the end, I have there rear bumper on my LBZ thats paint matched white and I left my factory chrome bumper up front, business in the front and party in the back.

Black lugs,OE front bumper , rear roll pan. Paint match the plastic on the OE . You’ll ruined it if you go off road bumpers. This lbz was good build hope you keep that truck the Z s are rare find in nice shape.
