This lock brake is absolutely dangerous it happened to me while towing my dump trailer full, and believe me when it happens to you you’ll get scared on keep driving. Dealer asking me 3k to get a new valve body and of course it will be back order this is really making owners upset. And me pissed.

I have an 08 duramax express 3500 work van. It is stock and has 165k on it. It’s been having excessive regen issues . I Tore into it to replace the alternator and a leaky heater core . It is so tight in the engine bay that I pulled out the fan shroud and some turbo pipes up front to make room to get the alternator out. Then I found some oil in the inter cooler. I’m guessing it’s a Leakey turbo. If I replaced just the turbo cartridge do you think that will help some of the regen issues? I can’t afford a lot of parts so I’m trying to get the most bang for the buck that I can. Thanks in advance for any tips u can send my way😊

I own a Ram 2500 6.7 I know better than to do what I had to in The past working as a wrecker operator. Im retired now but back in the 90s all our trucks were diesel the exhaust was right at the tow stinger where we had to put our heads to strap the vehicle down. Yes the funes messed me up over time but only because I had to breathe the exhaust with the RPMs up to operate the PTO. 😮 It was a bad design by Ford and the wrecker Body company to have the tailpipe location there! No DPF or any Emissions back then my lungs got plenty of the Soot 😢 would I delete my Ram ? Yes I would I don't have to breathe the exhaust directly anymore. And the damage is already done. Just make sure you know what your doing to avoid this. I was just a dumb kid that liked a big paycheck back then.

There's alittle info for you Ford makes from the factory a 6.7 powerstroke that is deleted from the factory but sad thing is the are for military vehicles only! Now if deleting is illegal why is it ok to have them deleted from factory! Things have got to change i know personally the majority of problems with these new diesel engines is the DF systems! They need to eliminate all this shit and they will run better.

What was the point of adding 4 gears? While at highway speeds the engines are revving the same. Seems like GM created a problem that wasn’t needed. Also. Why did they take away the dipstick? No such thing as ‘lifetime’ oil. If my 2017 L5P hadn’t started to rot away I would have kept it. Sad that now I have to always wonder if my 2023 is going to fail me. This is the opposite of peace of mind.

Truck Master Genuine Random Question. I’ve got a 95 12 Valve. (Bone stock) I want to put it through the wringer and make it a useable work truck for my everyday life. For that I’m going to end up asking a lot out of that truck, when it comes to electrical. I need a power Inverter, power to my extra Gauges, flashing strobe work lights, cb radio, a bigger amp (for a sound System) and the Inverters going to be charging my radios, my computer, and “ my mobile WiFi hot spot” my Milwaukee batteries. Now my question is, is it safe to wire all those auxiliary connections to my Auxiliary Battery or would it be worth it to convert my Truck to a triple Battery system and tie all my Auxiliary systems to that 3rd Battery and if I need to do the 3 battery set up what do you think would be the Best Mounting location for it?
